I think I was close to last picking my first FF go-round here last year. That, coupled with having zero clue what I was doing, wasn't helpful. More pressure this time around with the first pick. Looking to suck a lot less this year.

Definitely go with Vick at #1. If for no other reason than to watch Lanky's head explode. I know Houston is a LOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGG way from Greensboro, but you will hear and see it, I promise.
 
The #1 pick is very tough this year - the top guys all have question marks.
Peterson - which McNabb will rear its ugly head? The game-manager in Philthy, or the turf-burner in Washington?
Torain - that hammy should be enough to make anybody nervous about taking him with a top pick.
Johnson - sure he signed, but how good of shape is he in? No camp, no preseason, no problem?
Charles - Will he get more workload this year? He was a top fantasy back with limited touches last year, but how will he respond to more touches? If he even gets them?
Rice - down year last year, but is the Ravens' Oh-fense ready to bounce back, hun?
Vick - took a pounding this preseason; will Philthy's OL keep him upright past week 6?

Lots of questions...I actually am picking right where I want to be. :)
 
Just curious if anybody else has done one of those practice mock drafts on yahoo? I've tried it a few times just to test if the draft platform works without any glitches and it will randomly disconnect in the middle of the draft sometimes. Also, I've found that if you let the pick clock run down below a minute (not to zero) without yet making a pick, sometimes it will just select somebody for you. Has anybody else run into these problems?

Looking forward to Wednesday night...not crazy about the 9th pick in fantasy drafts; however, I think it's one of those slots where you need to be a bit more creative. Should be an interesting challenge.
 
I've done three regular drafts, and didn't have any connection problems (so far - got disconnected once, but it was the house internet, not Yahoo!). I have the ability to pause the draft, so if people do get disconnected, I will provide my cell number and email address so you can text/email me to let me know.

Let's see how things go with whomever Leatherface is, but if you want the spot it's your's.
