I can't tell if this is to bring back the consistent S&C joke from past years or not?
Just look at the league wide injury list: https://www.espn.com/nfl/injuries
We don't appear to be a wild outlier 🤷
Personally, I think there may be a much weaker correlation between 'S&C' and injury rates than fans believe. Maybe with some types of injuries, things like hamstrings and calf pulls... you can make a legit argument that there may be things the training staff are or aren't doing that are contributing to frequent muscle pulls. But in general, you can't 'condition' players out of injury risk. Ligaments only stretch so far, joints only bend in one direction, bones can only take so much pressure/force even if supported by strong muscle. It's a violent sport. I tend to view 'bad luck' as being as big a factor (probably a bigger factor) as 'S&C' when it comes to injury rates.
