Saw Deebo wearing a hat similar to this in his training camp interview with Kay Adams.... wanted the one with the feathers but they were all sold out. This one is still nice with good quality aesthetics. Hail!

Huh, we did not rotate Wylie/Conerly at RT against the Patriots. Wylie was the full-time LG, and Conerly the full-time RT. For some reason I thought they'd still cycle Wylie/Conerly at RT.

Maybe Wylie starts at RG over Aleggretti when the season begins?

Slater out for Chargers is a huge loss

It's a bad injury, too. Full patellar tear. That's a rough one to come back from, and a longer rehab time than an ACL.

I'm glad he just got his new contract a few weeks ago. I think this exemplifies nicely why players want to max out their value while they can.

His career may be over for all intents and purposes, patellar tendon tear is fairly rare and guys do not come back well from it

Position that depends on keeping insane artificial weight on makes it even harder

I think the Grinch said it best

"Stink! Stank! Stunk!"

Ok...so we're keeping only 2 QB's on the roster and a 3rd on the practice squad
I'm always in favor of this anyway.

I don't see why you need 3 on the active roster. If you lose your QB1 and QB2 in the same game, you're cooked anyway. Emergency QB hands the ball off, and you go home and lick your wounds. The chances a 3rd string emergency QB wins a game is so unlikely it just doesn't matter.

And also why teams don’t want so many guarantees. Until the salary cap rules allow escape from catastrophic injuries, I’m siding with the teams.

I want to watch my team to win a Super Bowl more than I want an athlete to make $60 million instead of $30 million. I don’t want to be one injury away from being knee capped for 3 years by a bad contract.

The push-pull between labor and capital. A tale as old as time.

I'm all for players earning their market rates. I'm not down with players holding out/demanding trades when they are 2 years into a 5 year deal, but I think pending FAs should get as much as the market allows. The NFL certainly isn't hurting for cash, so they should pay these guys well.

Neither you or I would work for $50k a year when everyone else around us doing the same job is making $100k. We all want to maximize our value.

Sure. I agree. And generally, I side with labor. The owners are billionaires, F them. But selfishly, I just want to watch my team win.

In this case the labor is millionaires and I have a hard time finding sympathy for either side in any negotiation.

Today's DQ presser;
Said they working a few guys out after practice today. Didn't elaborate.
Not bringing anyone in at this point to compete at kicker.
Addressing special teams coverage deficiencies.
3 positional units he likes, safety, corner, RB.
Said he thinks of final 53 and tries to see how it will look throughout camp.
Lane, confident on punt returns.
Run defense, mentioned correcting mistakes...either individual players or technique.

Only 10 min long, was before practice, did not mention injuries unless it was right at the beginning....looked like presser was joined after it started.

Trying to figure out the people they brought in for a workout, this is the most information I can find at the moment

And we lost a tackle to a torn ACL

I don’t know whether to put these in the training camp or social media thread but they are related to training camp so I’m putting them here

So looking at the list of players they brought in, somebody wasn’t very happy with the LB play from Friday night.

Wonder if Jordam McGee hammy is not looking good.....number of LB in for a look today.
