I picked the Giants. Jayden hasn’t thrown a pass in the preseason, Terry has only been practicing for a week, we just got outscored 109-38 in the preseason, and DQ is 2-5 as a head coach in week-1 games. Meanwhile the Giants look a lot better than last season. They’ve outscored their preseason opponents 107-37. Also remember Russell Wilson scored three touchdowns against us last season. The momentum is against us.

Now it is a home game, Santana Moss is being inducted into the Ring of Honor, and these NFC East games are so important, so I really hope we win, I’m just not betting on it.

We might win though. We always have a chance with Jayden Daniels at the helm.

I'm kinda thinking they take a step back this season but if that is not going to be the case then you have to beat the garbage ass Schoen/Daboll Giants.

Washington 27 Gnats 23

I just think our defence is going to be better this year and they are ready to show that from game 1. We hold them to a TD and 2 field goals picking up a turnover or 2 on the way.
On offence I’m a little torn. Not having our main wideouts available all camp is not ideal preparation but Deebo is flying and his presence just changes everything. Does it all click on game 1 against a traditionally tough opponent who are bringing some preseason momentum into the game? I’m not sure but I think we have enough to win regardless.
30-13 Washington.

The Bears averaged almost 30 points a game in last year's preseason; the Titans went 3-0. Means nothing.

33-30 Washington final. We'll be up 30-20 with 8 minutes to go, Gmen score 10 to tie, we walk off with a chip shot FG after a drive of 4 minutes to seal the game.

Fans are like this every year. Rinse and repeat. 🤣
Don't get me wrong--I am nervous about the Giants, because they're the Giants and we always shit the bed against them. But, we are better, we should win.

I am nervous about each and every game. But comparing preseason game approaches and results is next level.

Someone on Good Morning Football picked the Giants to make the playoffs. Maybe, but against this schedule in this conference? That's a stretch,

Every season at least one team in the top 10 falls apart, and one in the bottom third comes out of nowhere.

Who will it be this year?

Please, for all that is holy, let it be the Eagles!

I think the Giants are the team that flips their record. I think the Rams, Bikes, or Lions falter.

I feel like maybe we’re reading too much into the Giants preseason success… particularly as the stats suggest they didn’t actually have much success with their first team and the “starting” qbs they played against were Mitchell Trubisky (9/13 138 and 1 td), Ben Wooldridge and Justin Fields. Russell Wilson was 6/7 for 28 yards and 4/7 for 108 and a pick. They recorded 3 sacks (none against Trubisky or Fields), including 1 against Wooldridge (who?).

With that said, Dart and Winston put up pretty nice stats, and I don’t have the patience to go into run game stats (which units were playing against which units, etc), so maybe that’s where they excelled?
