2023 Washington Roster Moves

Color me shocked - Cheeseman is a Ron draft choice (hell, we traded up to get him).

This seems out of character for this staff.

Playing for his coaching life - maybe he doesn't want to get replaced...

It’s kind of refreshing that the long-snapper is currently the team’s biggest concern.

Maybe times really are a changing.
I don't know if I'd go that far. It is the easiest concern to address.

Why did Washington sign Trent Scott a 29 year old journeyman to a two year contract as a tackle and then make him inactive for the games each week?

If he is waiver wire quality depth player why not just put him on the practice squad?

Another poor decision on the OL.

and where is Mason Brooks? He was supposedly beasting out in camp and nothin.

Released William Bradley-King from PS

Signed Abdulah Anderson to the PS

Released TE Kaden Smith from Injured/Reserve list

The window for Phildarian Mathis to be activated off IR has been opened

Does he make it 21 days before he gets hurt again? Too soon?

As elusive as Sasquatch and the Lock Ness Monster….

When was the last time Russini got anything right on trades?

I hear you - although she probably has more sources now as the Athletic's senior NFL reporter... I am skeptical any moves will be made but I hope they keep Sweat if it comes down to dealing one of them. I know there are arguments to keep Chase. 3 years younger, higher ceiling theoretically, greater investment. But I just don't see greatness in the guy. I wish him well and if it turns out I'm wrong, and he's here, no one will be happier.
