We usually go to TC, as opposed to OTA's. Last year we attended OTA's and it was disappointing for the attendees, because they ran all of the plays on the far field. You couldn't see shit. They ran the drills near the crowd, but ran the plays on the opposite field, which is too far to see anything, which was exacerbated by the players standing on the far sideline blocking the view. They did serve a kick-ass breakfast, (for those STH's with VIP access...which is one of the choices for the STH's who chose the "business network" option) That's the last OTA I'll attend, unless they start posting which field they'll be using for running plays. Hopefully, the grandstand will help some. In any event, we're sticking to TC from here on out. That being said......we're going on the "NFL Back Together Day" to see what that's all about. I'll report back.

Veterans report Thursday July 27th.
 
With the slotting system used for rookies now, I don't understand why we have unsigned guys.

Am I missing something or is this just one more example of disfunction behind the scenes?

I've heard some people talk about this, and this is pretty much what i've heard them mention when talking about how it's not a big deal.

The biggest thing (imho) is the signing bonus, and who's gonna cut the check? It may very well simply be that the sign off on the amount of the signing bonus won't be fully agreed upon / funded until the new ownership takes over.

I read somewhere today that 2nd rounders specifically want the third year of their deals to be fully guaranteed, like in years past, but that teams are now fighting that.

Glad to see potential kicking competition. Too often, we’ve settled for okay.
 
Snyder's Redskins were the worst value for money play for sports fans I can remember. He spent money on several big name players early on in his tenure but by 2010 all of that was over and until he sold the team this past week, the focus has been on 'soaking' fans for as many dollars as possible, including amateurish maneuvers to hold season ticket holders money to earn interest and charging more for parking in a 'east bumfuck' location in MD than fans were paying in stadiums in built up suburbs and downtown in other cities.
