2023 - OTA/Camp thread

Warren Sapp back in Ashburn

Some early pics from camp.

You can see our rookie DB in the background

It wouldn’t surprise me if Young wears a knee brace the rest of his career. Most colleges require offensive lineman to wear them now. I don’t know how many offensive or even defensive lineman wear them in the NFL. I guess studies have been done proving that they help reduce injuries. The test for Young will be if that limits him or not. That’s really the question even if he doesn’t have a brace on. I think people are conditioned to seeing the brace and thinking that’s a bad thing. It may be, but I’m pointing out that lineman especially wear them more frequently these days for additional protection.

Some positive reporting about CY

Kam Curl not participating, but he's there

The reason Chase's absence annoy me is because there were too many reports of him being out of sync with the rest of his line. That his (charitable) freelancing caused gaps which allowed QBs or running backs to escape which is why the defense improved when lesser players were inserted. So, I don't mind Chase learning to be a better pass rusher and learning more moves, but I really want him to learn to work with the team and understand his responsibilities and what the guy next to him is doing.

For those outside of the area, wildfires from Canada have created an issue in the DC metro area. Smoke is creeping down creating RED air quality. It looks like the team is considering practicing inside the bubble for safety reasons.

My office is in Alexandria, just outside of DC, and it's REALLY bad here.

for the record, Kax Allen is dealing with a hamstring injury, I think he's the leader in the clubhouse for the spot if he's healthy.

Can a team now invest a roster spot in a return specialist only for punt returns since kickoff returns are going the way of the dinosaurs?

Kaz will have to show promise on offense to stick imo.

Anyone ever wonder about the validity of the ‘stay indoors’ advice? I mean - the air in your home (or in an practice facility) is coming from outside. I don’t think that’s gonna do the trick.

Logan Thomas (82), John Bates (87), Cole Turner (85), Curtis Hodges (80)

Bates looks surprisingly quick off the line, as well as Turner.

feet were quick as hell tho!

:ROFLMAO:

Randy Jordan sayin "oh you just f------ knocked em over" made me crack the hell up
