Good that gives us 3 legitimate options in the backfield to make plays.

Peyton Barber's roster spot could be in jeopardy now.
 
Miller is the only e whose job should be in jeopardy. Barber is a solid short yardage back.
 
Barber is the most limited of the backs.His per carry average shows he can’t really step up if there are injuries and be productive in the regular offense.
 
Barber’s ypc last season were affected by his use in primarily short yardage situations, but I agree that his skills are limited in a regular role.
 
Arians is a pretty good judge of talent and he decided Barber wasn’t worth carrying on the Bucs roster.
 
They never signed Barber to be an every down back. He’s a goal line and short yardage specialist and he is a very good one. Miller has played in just one game in 2 seasons and brings nothing special to the table. If they decide someone else can handle short yardage runs that’s fine. But until they do it would be foolish to cut Barber.

Barber IMO won’t make the team this year, there are too many players at WR and OL with upside to keep that many backs.

I think you will see the team start the year with 3 backs instead of 4.

Also it looks like we are planning on 3 quarterbacks where a number of teams go with 2.
