16th Annual BGO Ballers Fantasy Football League *** Champions HTTR and Kel Varnsen ***

Kel Varnsen what's the timeline for trade approval? Just so we can ensure we can set lineups for Sunday.
 
Per the Yahoo league rules, it is a 2 day wait. The message I got said it will process on the 23rd. So basically after this weekends games.

Shi no Tenshi Well, if I’m reading this right it processed the trade as soon as I approved. So it looks like that all it takes.

For anyone who makes a trade, tag me here, PM me, or get in contact with me and I’ll approve. I’ll only reject if the trade is outrageously bad (ie. Koo for Lamar Jackson).
 
Yeah, it gives you time to reject it if you feel it is unfair, but approves it automatically just in case you are not around. Thanks for confirming it for us :D
 
My RB core is terrible. With Connor being out for the season, Kalob Johnson hasn't done squat this year. Going to be an enjoyable and stressful year.
 
Yeah, having the right handcuff backs makes all the difference in a season. That and having just the right game happen at the right time.
 
I've had injuries in Fantasy before this year is ridiculous and it's only Week #4.

I've used 3 different QBs.
Nabers has gone to IR.
Higgens isn't hurt but Burrow is so Higgens isn't even putting up WR3 numbers.

However, I'm having fun and that is what matters.
 
Quick question/observation: shouldn’t you be able to swap a player out until their game begins?

I wanted to bench Maye prior to his game last night and put in Lawrence but it wouldn’t let me.

No biggie on my end but wouldn’t want it to hose someone later if it’s not supposed to be that way.

Yes you can. It locks at game time or maybe a few minutes before, but you can move any player into or out of your lineup before they lock. Let me know if you have that issue again.
 
Ok, it was at least an hour before NE’s game. If I remember, I’ll play with it next week.
 
Not sure whether to laugh or cry, but I just realized a 12 and 14 year old are the top two players in terms of total points so far in BGO League #2 this year. 😭

If I wasn’t just a game behind, I’d probably laugh. But good for them that they are figuring it out early. It’s always more fun that way.
 
We are halfway through the fantasy regular season. I wanted to give an update on where we stand.

In league 1, ZeroAnd16 is sitting in first place at 6-1. Right on his heels are Special K, 70Chip, Ashburn Dave, and Warpath at 5-2. Two teams are tied for the last playoff spot and a host of teams are just 1 or 2 games out of the playoffs.

In League 2, Little Piggy stands alone in first with a 6-1 record. Behind him are Kel Varnsen and Primus Porcus at 5-2. No one in league 2 is more than 1 game out of the playoffs at this point in the season.

Both leagues are very competitive and that’s what we like. Please continue to keep up with your team as we navigate through injuries as well as the bye weeks. This week has a ton of byes, so do your best to field a team and keep the leagues competitive.
 
I may have to go back to Auto Draft next year. LOL
 
It's playoff time in the BGO Ballers Fantasy Football Leagues. We will not have a repeat champion this year as last years champion was knocked out of the playoffs with a loss in week 14.

In League 1, the Quinn-tessential Team earned a bye and the top overall seed. 70 Chip also earned a bye for the quarter finals.

In League 2, Major Tuddy's Little Piggies finished as the top overall seed and has a bye this week. BrockStars finished second and also has a quarterfinals bye.

Best of luck to all teams in the playoffs.

And the #1 pick in that league did not make the playoffs. It's all about who you choose and what kind of year they have.

100% for sure. #1 pick a lot of times isnt as good as it sounds. But 14th pick is hard. JT was a steal of a second round this year.
 
So looking forward to having one of my children destroy me in the playoffs so that they can rub it in my face for the next 9 months…
 
I'm pleasantly surprised that I made it into the playoffs. I know anything can happen each week, but I expect my team to lose in the first round. Honestly, I prefer being in the middle of the pick order rather than in the top 2. I've been used to my other league having roster limits for each position. This year was a wake-up call for me lol.
