Football season is approaching, training camps are opening, and it's time to signup for the 16th annual BGO Ballers Fantasy Football League. This is your chance to show off your player picking skills and see if you can dominate your fellow members in fake football. The contest is free and it's open to everyone. All members are welcome to join. The more the merrier! We will divide into as many leagues as needed to accommodate all players, so sign up today.

We will use Yahoo as we have in the past and use the same roster construction and scoring rules as we did last year.

1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 1 DST, 1 K
Standard non PPR scoring

We want you to play. Whether you are a novice or an expert. Whether it's your 1st year or your 16th. We want you to play in this league. We have had 17 different people win out of the 21 leagues we have had over the last 16 years. We have also had a first time champion each of the last 6 years, so anyone can win.

To summarize:
You get to put your football team building ideas into action
You get to have camaraderie with the other members on this board
You get to have lots of fun
It costs you nothing but a few minutes each week


You do not want to miss out this year, so sign up today. All you need to do is reply in this thread that you want to play and I will setup the leagues and invite the players. Once we have the leagues set, we will work on setting the draft date to try and accommodate as many as we can.

After a triumphant 2023 I managed to defend my honor, my humanity by following that miracle season by yeah, the Generals have a better record against the GlobeTrotters than my performance last season. Oh I'm in.
 
Canadian Hog is in as always!

My 14 year old Chiefs fanatic, Canadian Chief (recent registrant at BGO), would like to play as well. He signed up to the site simply to get in our league if he can. He follows the NFL very closely and would be a very active owner. He would likely do us all a favour and select Kelce in Round 2…lol. Let me know if he can get in.

That is awesome. My nephew did the same thing a few years ago. He actually won the league last year. Granted, he is 23 now so he’s an adult. But I still enjoyed getting him into our league as a teenage novice and having him play against us.
 
I can run 2 teams if we run 2 leagues and we need more coverage.
 
A lot of folks aren't yet dialed in and probably haven't seen this. I suspect when all is said and done we may have enough folks for 3 or 4 leagues.

BGO NFL Pickem contest sign-ups will be open in the next 48 hours as well - for those unfamiliar that's where you pick the winner of every NFL game every week.

I appreciate that. We will see where we end up as far as numbers. If we need to go down that route, I’ll send out the bat signal.
 
I can join in, and run some stuff again if you need help. It'd be cool to get 4 leagues, most we've ever had was the 3, and people got fun trophies :D
