  1. The RG3 video and pic thread

Of course you followed RG3 because I made you!:smile2: Welcome to the board - glad you took me up on my suggestion!
  2. Free Agency:

Very funny. So BB - if they sign him would it be as a starter (assuming he proves he's healthy) or as a back up swing tackle? Can he play on the right side or is he a left tackle only?
  3. The RG3 video and pic thread

I caught the Bowl game last year (and put his name on my list of QBs to track this past season) and I watched about half of his games this year. He really is as good as the highlight reel. The thing that most impressed me about him was how he was always looking to throw the ball unless the play...
  4. Signed: DB Cedric Griffin

As I've looked at what's possible - I agree - keep the two 3rds in the scenario.
  5. Free Agency:

Thanks BB. As for you BT - I'm not going anywhere near that comment...
  6. Signed: DB Cedric Griffin

Ok, so say D Hall is traded - what then? Wait until the draft, look into the current remaining FA CBs, wait for an unexpected release later, or some combo of all of these things? Would they take a 3rd for Hall? If so, maybe they can package their 2 3rds to get back into the 2nd.
  7. Free Agency:

Why not just go to Drafttek: http://www.drafttek.com/ They keep their site quite up-to-date. As far as I know, the Brown pick was conditional on the % of snaps (90% or something like that) and the condition wasn't met - so the Skins should have a 6th from MIN, but not their original 6th.
  8. Signed: DB Cedric Griffin

Assuming they sign Ross, do you think they are done addressing the secondary via FA for now and would then turn their attention to the draft to further supplement? Might they still look into someone like Tracy Porter (not the greatest corner, but he has been somewhat productive.) I wonder if...
  9. Redskins FA Signings Thread

Are the various supposed Winston quotes verified as actually originating from him? When he was on NFL Radio the other day he indicated that his priorities were: 1) team that was on an upward trajectory - capable of winning in the near future 2) Zone blocking scheme 3) Money - he wanted to be...
  10. Signed: DB Brandon Meriweather

Well said. Hopefully the Skins will draft the future starter with Merriweather as a stop gap at most for now. If he performs as anything more than a basic stop gap than that would just be gravy.
  11. Redskins FA Signings Thread

Agreed. Or maybe if they're lucky Harrison Smith will last to their pick in the 3rd.
  12. Free Agency:

They need to get this done. Winston said on NFL Radio today (paraphrasing here) that he wants to go to a team that could contend in the future and while he is seeking a fair contract, being able to play in a ZBS would be a factor in his decision.
  13. Free Agency:

Cool. Adding one or both could be very solid moves.
  14. BREAKING NEWS: Redskins to lose $36 Million in Cap Space

This is unbelievable! This doesn't seem like the kind of sideshow the league would want to have after the ugly lockout...
  15. BREAKING NEWS: Redskins to lose $36 Million in Cap Space

Saw that. Anyone have an updated cap number? If we assume they split the $36MM evenly across both years, do they have like $29MM in cap space this year, is that right?
  16. BREAKING NEWS: Redskins to lose $36 Million in Cap Space

I realize Carr is probably not in the Cards now. Will they get the $6MM cap savings for Hall if he is traded or only if he is released?
  17. BREAKING NEWS: Redskins to lose $36 Million in Cap Space

So you're on board with parting with Hall now?:smile2: If Hall's is removed from the roster, how is he replaced?
  18. BREAKING NEWS: Redskins to lose $36 Million in Cap Space

This infuriating, but I think the Skins will weather the storm nevertheless. However, this is clearly arbitrary and capricious. Besides the fact that there was no written rule that was violated, beside the fact that other teams are not being punished commensurately, beside the fact that the...
  19. Can RG3 Be The Exception? Why Don't Big 12 QBs Succeed In The NFL?

One thing that a lot of the QBs you're referencing have in common is that there were questions about their arm strength and skepticism that their completion percentages were inflated by a short passing game and lots of high percentage passes. RG3, on the hand, often (successfully) threw the...
