I remember Maryland's state troopers back in the 70's and driving through Maryland to get to Ocean City was no picnic. That was back when you heard of them giving out speeding tickets for going 5 mph over the speed limit. Thank God for cruise control so I could keep it under.- Ashburn Dave

A Romertopf sounds like my backup plan if I can't find a Daubier. I hadn't heard of a German Romertopf before, but it looks like it works similar to the French Daubier in that they both can braise. Does anyone have any experience with cooking with French clay pots or Daubiere's? My wife has an interest in this but it's hard for me to find an authentic pot.
