Liquor, Beer, Wine & Cocktails.....What do you like & what are you drinking?

What is everybody drinking for the Chicago game tonight? I got my standard going on...Titos, lime seltzer and Fever Tree ginger beer

Little late to the show....we drank bourbon at the tailgate. Good, cheap whiskey..Old Forester 100, Very Old Barton 100, and some not-so-cheap bourbon, Booker's and, in my opinion, one that was a drain-pour, some type of Penelope blended whiskey. I poured that shit on the ground:puke:

I agree about that Mellow Corn!! Drain pour.

I hope you guys had a good time at the game yesterday even though we lost

I found this today at a few bucks over MSRP, so it went home with me.
Don't tell HOF44 , or my reputation as a cheap bastard will take a major hit...🤫

Nice! How much was it? I’ve never seen the 21. When I’m out I’ll a lot of times order the 9 or 12 year old Knob Creek.

$259.00.
MSRP is $250.00
I passed at $299.00, but pulled the trigger when I saw this one on the shelf.
With the exception of that Maple crap, I love pretty much any iteration of KC. The 12 year is my go-to Beam whiskey, with the Jim Bram SiB 108 proof..the one with the plastic screw top.

I was pouring a couple whiskey samples for a tailgate buddy of mine for tomorrow. Mrs Skinsfan requested an Old Fashioned. I can't let the poor woman drink alone, so I made a couple.
I prefer rye, but a bottle of Booker's was open on the counter and, being lazy after tailgate prepping today, I didn't bother making the 20' walk to the bar for some rye, so Booker's it is! 🤘

For this game I decided to break out this new one because I am in the mood for Scotch while watching my team get smoked this week

Then after tasting it and realizing that it's actually crap, I went back to my Loch Lomond bottles

Never heard of it. Try revisiting it in a few months... could just be it's not working with your palate this evening.

Dude at TotalWine told me it was great but I have like 20 Single Malts to compare it too, and white this isn't a single malt it seems to me that they wasted those 14 years trying to create something different.

Trust me it's not good, its better than some junk scotch but this cost 50-60 I think.

Yeah, sometimes they're just drain pours....

I don't ever buy "pre-made" stuff, always make my own recipes. Saw a lady buying some CutWater espresso martini cans the other day, asked her how they were. She said, "awesome, just pour 'em over some ice".
Well, the company also makes white russians, and I bought a 4-pack. Amazingly tasty. I could see this becoming a thing here in my place.

Also surprisingly potent. :help:

Same...but that Evan Williams Egg Nog is amazing.

Waiting to board our flight from Nashville. We toured Jack Daniel's. We've visited a shit-ton of distilleries, mainly in Kentucky, and I was underwhelmed by the tour.
The grounds and buildings are nice, but I was somewhat disappointed. It reminded me of a cruise where they're just trying to separate you from your money by taking a cheesy photo, ($55.00:ROFLMAO:), as you board a shuttle. The tasting samples were less than a thimble-full, and only 2 decent whiskeys, and some flavored crap. They could learn a thing, or three, from Beam, Maker's, Buffalo Trace, etc.
That aside they have some unique "distillery only" bottles and I picked a few up. The one that I cracked open at the hotel is excellent.
