Commander Wraith
The 1st Round Pick
Interestingly, I just noticed that ESPN has Fowler 8th in Pass Rush Win Rate among edge rushers…
Another facet I’d like is someone with good spatial awareness that’s used to playing with mobile qbs - ie a guy that’s good at getting open after a play breaks down.
Oh no--Payne was atrocious this year, per PFF.PFF considers Payne elite ffs. They are a clownshow.

You and me both.Twitter is pissing me off man.
For as much hate as PFF gets (and rightfully so) they have become pretty accurate. The hell are you talking about? Last season they gave Payne a run defense grade of 49.3 and a pass rush grade of 60.8.![]()

Absolutely. It’s funny, but I’ve become more aware how difficult this skill is after watching my son play HS soccer. The number of kids calling for the ball having no idea a defender is right at their back… it’s both amusing and frustrating, lol.I just want to +1 this section of your post.... it's actually a skill that some players excel at that doesn't always jump out unless you are looking for it!

Would love to get Moses back
Not looking at him as a starter but a solid back up at a good price. Did a good job against Watts last yearI'm a UVa guy but man, he's going into like his 12th or 13th season. He struggled staying on the field his first go round here. I can't imagine there's much gas left in the tank?
I stand corrected on Payne and PFF. The reason I even stopped looking at that site was because of the way they graded him a couple of seasons ago. Maybe they have improved some and I should give them another shot. But i still stand by my grade on Sweat. He would immediately become the most impactful player on our DL. And I am not alone in that thought. And your beloved PFF agrees with me.

If we got him under $20 AAV that would be an absolute steal--but the way money is being thrown around, I doubt any of the top DL get less than that.Dayo from the Colts at 25 yo is looking like a real good get.
