Liquor, Beer, Wine & Cocktails.....What do you like & what are you drinking?

Revisiting this one.
It's pretty damn good!
I'm not normally a weeknight drinker, but I'm off until January the 6th, so why the fuck not? 😁

Found something old and different from Barrell and since I've been trying a few of their varieties and like all of them I decided to get this bottle that must have been started the same year our team last won a Super bowl.

I haven't opened it yet but probably will sooner or later, maybe if we get a playoff win.

Also a newer one that was decently priced.

Titos with fresh ginger lemongrass syrup and soda. Also one of these :)

Picked a few of my favorite pours of the year. Been sipping on these today.

The tequila is probably the best tequila I've ever had and maybe one of the best sips I've ever had period.

The Westward is the best American Single Malt I've had to date.

I have recently discovered Maker's Mark. I was never a straight liquor guy but bourbon and coke was in my rotation. I'm mostly a beer and wine guy but I can't drink more than a glass and a half of wine, then I'm on to something else. For some reason a beer has not tasted good after wine so I opt for Maker's Mark every now and then.

The problem is as much as I like to drink I don't like to get drunk and I have no intentions of drinking a lot regularly. But straight bourbon over rocks is like 4 drinks in one glass, this after wine, and one drink never seems to be enough, it's gone in less than an hour. As I like to drink and not sip I find I drink too much when I break out the Maker's Mark so I'm really limiting it now.

No picture, but EH Taylor Small Batch for my celebratory pour. Here's to a great season and hopefully a bright future and much more entertaining seasons. Cheers!

That's a great pour!

Stay warm, my friends!

This is a top notch bottle.

I bought them based solely on your recommendation...I trust your opinion and palate. Our mutual buddy can hype expired buttermilk and make it sound like 72 year Macallan in Lalique...šŸ˜…

He is the consummate salesman. I loved this bottling though. I’ll be interested to hear what you think after you try some.

He has his own DSP now and a location near point of rocks that he just built storage for aging a few thousand barrels. A bottling line and a house to host people for barrel picks. Also a store to sell his bottlings.

Yeah...he's certainly passionate, but that's part of the fun.
I'd like to get in on a pick one day but my palate isn't that sophisticated...
