There might be the possibility of not wanting to break him down too much for health reasons....The game wasn't broadcast here so I have no real context for things but when I looked at the boxscore these are the two things that jumped out at me. I don't understand how when your lead back is knocking out 6.6 per touch he only gets 11 carries on a night where you having real QB issues. Honestly, this sort of smacks a bit of another Turner who famously said "what we do works" when it wasn't working.
Peyton Barber is basically there to get hit so the more dynamic guy doesn't. Because, boy does Peyton Barber suck anywhere but goal line or what. Because if Harbor Freight made a Chinesium battering ram, Peyton Barber is the football equivalent of that.
