Confirmed Signings

Loving the updates BB.

Even with the initial "oh ****" reaction when Hank got carried off. :paranoid:

Yikes:

@Russellmania980Anthony Bryant says he is fine and doing OK -- Ryan Kerrigan walked out of the building and was really struggling to walk. Didn't look good

I have a feeling we're going to have more than a few, "oh ****" moments with player injuries for a while.

This is what happens when you have no football practice for several months. In another week or so, they will be fine. Soreness and cramps are a given for a while.

how can the saints release reggie bush and then turn around and sign someone smaller than him? he said he would have restructured his deal.

logic at its finest.

I heard he didnt want to restructure- and Saints wanted him to take a cut. But didnt sproles get more than what they would have given Reggie?

BB- you are there live?? Damn I wish I lived in DC...at least Aug-Jan.

Ty Warren has been released by the Pats. That signals Fat Albert is in town.

Anthony Bryant had a solid practice. He is now a slim and trim, 360 lbs.

THe weather is better out there. It's only a hundred or so here right now

Cowboys re-sign Marcus Spears. The Bowen signing really stunned them. Spears was never going to return.

Cullen's agent prices him out of another team. Yo, Cullen. The Bungles are on line one - please pick up the phone.

Redskins have $12 million in cap room and around $30 million in actual money that can be spent in 2011.

I was listening to Colin Cowherd on the radio (ESPN) during my commute this morning.....and while I typically like his takes, wanted to reach into my radio and rip his throat out for making a totally arbitrary and generalized statement.....that the Redskins are the worst team in the league and that the culture at Redskin Park is horrible.

Just read this article on Yahoo....and, for the first time I've seen, someone in the national press actually got it right. It's a good read.

Heh, BB started a thread about that article this morning. We've been discussing it all day. :)

Yep, I heard that too. Sadly, it is going to take a while I think for the perception of Dan Snyder running the show and opening up the checkbook for FA to go away. The problem is that no matter how celebratory we all are about Fat Al and McNabb leaving, those situations do nothing but reinforce the perception of Snyder running (read: ruining) things for the Skins. We can all attribute Fat Al to Vinny and want to remind the national media of that, but the current regime owns the McNabb fiasco. Personally, I am glad they acknowledged the mistake and dealt with it as quickly as possible, but to the national media, it is just another example of a big name player being brought in to DC and ultimately failing.

Sigh.

Well, color me embarrassed. I've been reading THIS thread all day in and out of working (damned career!!) and hadn't seen the other thread.

Watch this video then.....completely unrelated, but I can probably guarantee nobody's started a thread about it on BGO and it'll give you a quick break from the NFL feeding frenzy. Off topic....but whatever.

Bah, we're pretty cool here and it is relevant to the discussion. :) No need to feel embarrassed about it.

Well, there is one thing. Boone requires a payment of one dollar for each time this mistake is made. :biggrin2:

Hehe, yeah don't be embarrassed about it. I'm mostly just a dick for pointing it out. :D
