That's what I thought also. We can have 3 on the game day roster, and a fourth on the PS. Makes a developmental prospect easier to hang onto.

Philip Daniels hurts. You hate to see a leader like that let go, but like everyone else said, he's been on the downside for a couple of years now

Not sure what this means, but Buchanon said he has switched agents.
 
Buchanon is a third corner at 30. His days of being a full-time starter in the NFL are over IMO.

Redskins reached agreement with former Cowboys DE Stephen Bowen on a 5-year, $27.5 million deal that includes $12.5 million in guarantees.
 
Bowen was a guy I had my eye on as a hard working lunch pail type player who could fit in here on the DL, but figured after the Cofield signing further additions would be for less money.

As much as I hate Boise st- due to the fact I'm an Idaho Vandal Alum (rivalry near the Skins/Pukes level)- this guy is a stud. Hoping he makes a good transition to the NFL, can hit frickin hard! At least should make a good special teamer

Redskins had a handshake deal with Cullen, but agent tried to go for more. Not a smart move. Deal is not dead, so we will see what happens.

I don't know who Bowen is, outside of Matt. I guess this is a good signing? Must mean we are out of the Cullen Jenkins bidding war now then...

We are not out of the running for CJ. This was sent as a stern message to his agent.

Bowen is an awesome signing and has been considered as the best sleeper in this FA class. We're really going to like this guy and his motor.

As for CJ, he can take the Dallas money and be a starter there. With Spears gone, he will need to be a full time starter and his body may not last a full 16 games. With the Redskins, he can take a little less money, be in the rotation with Bowen, Carriker, and Jenkins (rookie). That is less wear and tear on his body and he can be very productive for the 'Skins. It his call and his agent needs to stop with the playing games thing - Bruce won't stand for it.
