McD, wassup with the Magic? I know you called they would have trouble with the Hawks, and i definitely agree ATL is a bad matchup for them with their length and athleticism, but does anyone other thsn Howard realize the playoffs have started? Where is Reddick? What is going on?

I knew this series would go 6 or 7. Great shooting by Atlanta, and laziness on the part of Orlando is making this more difficult than it needs to be.
The Magic's shooters just believe they can turn it on at any point, and because of this, they can come out slowly, and sit back on defense. That slack effort had them down by 14 points last night. Of course, they came back and took the lead. But they can't play defense for only 24 minutes, and expect that the Hawks will just fold.
The Magic finished the season with the 3rd best defense in the league. They need to show it from the opening play.
Also, they have a lot of talent that isn't receiving any time on the floor. We'll see Arenas Sunday night, but I would love to see Earl Clark get some action. I'm not happy with Stan's decision to keep both of them on the bench to this point.
And finally, Hedo needs to make better shooting decisions. He's playing with a ton of energy and hustle, but he's passing up great looks, and then later taking awful shots. He needs to wake up.
The Magic will win Sunday, but if they plan on winning the series, they need to start clicking as a unit.
