The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

I think we jumped the gun a bit on Tunsil. However, we cannot complain that the FO isn't supporting Jayden and get mad at the one (you can argue 2 with Conerly) REAL thing they've done to support him up until now.

Having Tunsil is a good thing. I agree, the draft capital may have helped us more long term, but we needed to protect JD5 and got the tackle.

I'm just as critical of this regime than anyone else here. I am not fond of the overall direction yet (I think 2025 offseason really, really hurt us, but I do like where we're going MUCH better than I did last year). But credit where its due.
I am actually glad they decided to prioritize protection over weapons for him first. Plus they had Terry and had no way of knowing he would have done what did last of season. Still tilted over that btw

These damn comp picks are killing me. It's like the Atlantic Ocean to cross before our pick.

The cumulative effect of the Rivera years plus last year's inexplicable thumb-up-the-butt offseason have long lasting and cumulative effects.

You can't water a field with Brawndo for 5-6 years then expect a bumper crop the next season.

I don't know what Brawndo is, or a bumper crop, but damnit this sounds cool.

NOOOOOO! Prysock is gone.

Keith Abney ratred high by most draftniks still there but not a bifg corner.

If its going big and athletic at corner

I have no idea who Prysock even is. Dont even know If I have ever seen him play a single down.

When you are from Australia how the hell did you come to be a Cincinnati Bengals fan?

Jalon Kilgore as a versatile piece to utilize in the secondary would be really good value at this point in the draft. We would be fortunate if he is still there at 147.

Other than the top guys, he might have been my favorite corner prospect. Fits right in at San Fran. Physical corner that can play slot and outside. Big guy. Would have been a real nice addition to our room.

so which center are we hoping for? I assume there is a better chance for a center to be a starter than a DB drafted at this point.
