Some people think that he has a mental health issue

Yea, pictures are always tricky and sometimes his face looks a little big anyways. Jayden told AP that he's ready to go so hopefully that is correctI don’t know… you can’t tell if he’s overweight based on a photo with a large jacket on.
But banking on Aiyuk to be with us is such a bad move… if that’s what the FO is doing.

If we were able to get Tate a 7, Jennings or Allen would fit wellI really hope Aiyuk isn’t the plan at WR, that’s scary. WR is code red territory as is.
I’m seriously starting to think that it shouldn’t even be considered an option.I don’t know… you can’t tell if he’s overweight based on a photo with a large jacket on.

I agree and it's why no one is trading for him.I completely understand the argument that we can't count on him to be anything this coming year. I don't understand the argument that he's not worth a fully unguaranteed contract to see what he could become - IMO that's very low risk and potentially high reward.
It's a big turnoff if he has allowed himself to get out shape like that. It would add another red flag with his nameEven if he's not currently in shape, there is still plenty of time for him to get in it. He should be fine by the time the season hits

But I think they will get cap space after June 1st once they release him. That is why people think that he will be released on June 2ndIf I remember correctly, the 49ers can hold onto him without any extra cost all the way up to opening day. We are totally at their mercy, and Aiyuk would have to both get in shape and learn an entirely new offense at the same time.
