No, we haven't. But I think Peters was focused on fixing the shit-tastic defense. I would expect Jenning and Chig Onkwonkokonnko level signings today. I don't imagine they'd be after too many bigger defenders.

I don't know Jared Verse came into the NFL with the Rams and immediately made the defense a lot better.

I never did like La Canfora, he looks to get even with people using his media platform. Big ego.

Yep, and also strange is how ex-Redskins that have issues with the team like Griffin always seem to end up on TV or in the media. It's amazing how a team that hasn't won anything since George Bush's father was in office gets this many people into these jobs.

Chaisson looks better here than I expected It’s not just Von Miller clean up sacks. You can easily see the scheme fit. Even get to see him drop into coverage a little.

Chaisson and Chenal are fantastic additions. Love what they’re doing defensively and that starts with Jones at DC.

It’s still code red on offense with few viable options remaining. Both things are true.

WR- Aiyuk seems like a given. Jennings is only other difference maker on the market since Diggs has major baggage.

TE- Chig is on a tier by himself. Goedert and Njoku less interesting backup plans.

RB- Rachaad, Keaton Mitchell, Sean Tucker (Tucker would top my list)

Still time. Get me Jennings and Chig and this free agency is a home run. Whiffing on offense is such a big sin it nullifies all the defensive progress in my book. We absolutely must support Jayden.

I do wonder if they feel a trade back for one of Lemon/Tyson/Shadiq is in play if neither of Tate or Love are on the board.

Seeing AP strike on these last two defensive signings is a great reminder he’s not stupid. Buys back a little patience for me but he still gotta deliver.

Stuck at work so have to be quick. But I am not worried about the secondary so much anymore. Our front 7 is going to be a menace for opposing QB's. That always helps the secondary guys a ton. Serious pressure defense incoming.

We do need a safety but every other hole has been nicely filled (so long as you trust Amos and Sainristil as 1-2 on the outside).

Offense is still an F tho since we literally haven't done anything. That should change soon.


The Maxx Crosby situation is wild. Raiders should be rightfully pissed and Ravens should face an investigation and punishment. They're pretending like a bunch of dominos didn't fall bc of their actions based on info they already knew.

Weirdly, I’m now more open to returning Wagner. Partially because playing more zone can hide his coverage issues, partially because he’d durable, a good tackler, a solid blitzer and a high IQ player. Having Chenal, Luvu and Magee means Wagner can come off the field if we go down to 2 LBs, and the others can be the sideline to sideline players when we play with 3 or 4 backers.

Mainly though, I get the sense we could use his leadership by example, gravitas, and ability to line everyone up. I’d also put Wagner as most likely to pick up Jones’ scheme and help others get acclimated.

I don’t think it would preclude us from drafting Reese or Styles either (though both will likely be gone) as he and Luvu would only be signed for one year. In fact, having that one year of mentorship, for a position that often takes time to develop, could be a feature rather than a bug (the bug being less playing time for the rookie).

Not saying it’s something I feel strongly about (generally I’d much rather get younger), but I can see the appeal more so now.

Totally subjective of course, but…

I think I’d give the defensive grade a B or B+… mainly because we need more secondary help. Tough to judge right now though - if Robertson plays well for us (and our corner trio stay healthy), that grade moves up for sure.

On offense, I’d be slightly more generous simply because we extended Tunsil, and re-signed Mariota. I’m still not totally clear if Rodriguez is returning (I think yes?), but he and Burks help our depth at 2 positions of need. Still very lackluster so far though. A D grade maybe?

Jennings and Okonkwo would be huge gets for us, but odds are we don’t land both (or either one)… so I’m preparing for a board meltdown, lol.

I tend to agree we go with one of Tate, Love or Downs now (not an edge), but… I believe only Oweh and JJB are under contract for ‘27 and edges often start a little slow, so still a possibility IMO.
