The 2026 Free Agency Thread

Again, though is this a guy you prioritize in the first hour plus of free agency?

If the team believes in him that much at age 27 how come only a 2 year deal?

Want to upgrade the CB room? I would have brought in Watson.

I still say we either have a cash outlay limit holding us back. That or are cap calculation people suck.

I'm just having flashbacks of 6'2 Michael Irvin pushing off 5'8 Darrel Green and getting away with it. Short corners just trigger that image. Hopefully we can keep Amik in the slot
That would move Mikey outside. Which is just as scary imo.

I mean, all Mark Bullock does is study player film and he doesn't seem familiar with the guy...

Maybe the team is targeting Delane or McCoy in the draft? Wouldnt that be a shocker if the guys we love are on the board 😆

maybe a now defensive coordinator who was saw him play twice a year might have a valid opinion on him

We were in on Likely but he followed his former coach... Peters isn't just sitting around watching the world spin around him...

But a lot of us WERE nervous we’d swing and whiff, too.

Anyways… TUNSIL

We're already making the 'A' for effort argument, lol?

It's early. Hopefully we will win some of these competitions and add some damned talent.

I though Mikey's best season was outside for us. iirc, last year they tried to put him back at slot and it didn't pay off. Not that he was set up to succeed at any other position, but still...

Having 2 undersized corners with him and Mikey against Brown, Pickens, and Nabers could be trouble. Amos has to be really good

Good thing this isn’t baseball. With AP’s batting average he woulda been benched

No, but there's a lot of people (admittedly on twitter) saying Peters 'forgot to set his alarm' and that he's asleep at the wheel. He's not just sitting back letting things happen.

The minute we knew Pierce wasn't leaving Indy we should have been on the phone with Doubs.

I am still waiting for the announcement that Washington is signing Cade Mays to play center after 9 starts with Carolina last year as a replacement for our now departed starting center Biadasz.

Cue up the 'Commanders were in it' replies... lol

My lid is rocking right now. More news like that and it's going to flip. I wasn't thrilled for getting a center when I think we need other positions more, but the clock is ticking on getting anyone worthwhile at all.
