Linderbum gets over 25M......

But Biadasz wasn't worth that 8M cap hit?

I mean I get worrying about JD’s contract but who besides him do we really have to pay in the next few years. Ain’t like we the Eagles with 15 all pro contracts coming due.

Peters coming out of the gate slow with all the money we apparently have to spend. Still early but come on…
We don’t have that much money. We had about 15 open active roster slots and that meant we could average about $5M/slot.

I’m not sure if Tunsil added or took cap space. So can’t comment there. But that was 15 holes with Tunsil.

So we don’t have the kind of cap that it looks like we have. But should still have more than this.

The price was just too high for what?

This team acts as if we have a Super Bowl defending team to protect and a lot of all pros to satisfy.

You want more money to get the best center available or the best cornerback or the best edge rusher?

CUT DARON PAYNE AND USE THE $22M THERE TO GET SOME ********** TALENT IN THE DOOR.

If we can't find a gap filler to play NT in a newly constituted 3-4 here than we are even worse in scouting than I thought.

Standig just now. Where he's a little different.

Thinks they do nothing at TE aside from add depth

Doesn't love the idea of going for Linderbaum, but understands if they do, not sure if they do it.

He's sticking to if its Aiyuk they aren't signing a major Wr with him.
I would throw something heavy if this is how it goes.

Adding Aiyuk and nothing else is malpractice. Entire FO on canning-watch if they pull that.

over a whole 1% higher in cap % vs the previous record...

There's no way we could match that contract with Tunsil signing.

Doesn't explain the Biadasz release, but that contract is huge for Linderbaum.

Some people are flipping out already! 🤣🤣🤣

I don't believe they released Biadasz with the plan to sign Linderbaumj anyway. I think they said 'we'll pencil in Allegretti there and if we get the chance to upgrade, we can do that'. I hate the release because I don't believe they really had a solid plan beyond letting Biadasz walk.

I'm sorry 81 over 3 for a center is INSANE.

Yeah, effffff that.

Raiders stay bad.
They had 26M more to spend than everyone else. Good signing for them. Would have been bad for us.

You just said the exact same thing I did.
Not exactly, I agree that with the best teams we are at a disadvantage but I see Atlanta, NYJ, Raiders and others go out and sign players and while they have to pay $$$ they are able to get the deals done with guys that could have gone to better organizations.

It appears to me until proven otherwise that this administration in Washington right now is the Pittsburgh Pirates of the NFL.

We just aren't going to make any major deals and are going to accept being a team that has to draft and then trade developing players for prospects.........................EXCEPT we aren't that good at doing the drafting either :help:
