For the Giants, and John "Lombardi" Harbaugh, i think anything short of 15 wins has to be a disappointment.

In every Logan Paulsen guest appearance, he always brings up Styles and gets geeks out over him! LOL
He likes him a lot but on another podcast he did mention the caution about him is LBs don't tend to make a major impact right away.
His guy clearly seems to be Bailey.
He's wavered on Reese, a week or so ago he thought he wasn't worth a top 10 pick, now upon further digesting he's on board but still seems to prefer Bailey and has been less enthused about Bain on further digesting.

Yeah when talking about edges he stated that pass rush is a lot more important than run stopping. Also, didn’t seem super keen on a guy with short arms. It all sounds like AP likes Bailey a lot more than Bain
Testing numbers are extremely important for edges, historically. WR not so much unless you’re trying to fill a specific burner role, as long as they pass certain benchmarks.

I love McCoy. I think he is a top 8 player in this draft. But with his injury history and our GM's public thoughts on that I think he is not on our board.
I guess what I mean is we expect Bailey and Reese to test really well, Bain less so.
Unless someone really underperforms rankings will stay staus quo.
agreed, I think they take Bailey or Reese over Bain. Higher upside and probably a bit more scheme versatility.

Another thing Finlay mentioned that he didn't put on X happened in the local media scrum and talked about live on Monumental. He said Peters talked about being aware in FA with certain positions that are better price points or cost controlled. Finlay took that to mean RB and LB. It'll be interesting to see if they use #7 at either and rather use FA for those positions.

I was with you until his performance in the playoffs. He was a wrecking machine. The question is would we let him free lance the way he did in college? Because that is what you are going to have to do with him to let him be successful.
I am not negative on Bain, i am unsure.

With the seventh pick, Washington probably will miss out on Ohio State’s Arvell Reese. Texas Tech’s David Bailey could be a great fit for head coach Dan Quinn, but Bailey could be off the board as well. After that pair, Washington could consider some other options, like Miami’s Rueben Bain. They also might look to trade down as they are without a second-round pick from the Laremy Tunsil trade. In a move down, some edge options to consider include Auburn’s Keldric Faulk, Missouri’s Zion Young, Texas A&M’s Cashius Howell, and Oklahoma’s R. Mason Thomas. Moving down and landing an edge rusher could be the ideal draft, but trading down is always easier said than done, especially in the top 10.
Sources with Washington say they won’t force the pick and reach to fill a need. They will take the best player available, but their preference is to add an edge rusher at seven. Check my latest 2026 NFL Mock Draft to see which edge rusher I currently project them taking.

Re-watching the tall WR's. I'm really curious what Carnell Tate runs, he seems to eat up cushion faster than these other tall guys.
Decided to re-watch Boston again since so many like him and he's getting a lot of buzz. Not a fan of Boston in the 1st. I think he gets bullied a bit too much by physical coverage. It's reminding me a little of Josh Doctson, except if Boston is actually 6'4 then that helps a lot. Boston needs bunch sets, or aligned as the Z, or to be the Big Slot...or if he's the widest receiver, he isn't by the numbers. He can be bullied towards the sideline way too much. Lined up around the Hashes, sure, I can buy that. He rounds his breaks a little too much...but if he's actually 6'4, then that doesn't matter as much as if he was 6'2. On occasion I think the rounding of the break makes sense for a timing route based on leverage, but again...I'm looking for him to be 6'4 to make that ability still transition to the Pros.
P.S. I bring up this 6'4 vs 6'2 stuff as the Eagles got burned by it with JJ Arega-Whiteside aka JAW. He was supposedly this 6'4 post-up nightmare with leverage on a route. But at the combine he came in at 6'2, the Eagles drafted him anyways...and there's just a big difference between a 6'4 WR that relies on leverage and timing routes vs a 6'2 one.

6'3", 262 LBs, 33" arms are primarily the measurements of all of the players in the draft.
The only longer one is Faulk and he isn't explosive.
Faulk at 7 is a reach, IMO production isn't there to warrant top 10 pick.
Combine will be of interest/value to evaluate day 2 prospects w traits that Peters covets
Faulk is an interesting player. I have seen him from the top 10 to the top of the 2nd round. I believe he will be gone before 15 but I'm not into him at 7 for sure.
