Yeah I remember looking at Nick Nash for our mock draft last year. Was surprised he went undrafted.

I think that’s 13 we have now on future contracts. All young and with something to prove. I like what we’ve done there so far
 
Not sure if anyone other than SIP follows the English Premier League but Man Utd and Chelsea both just fired their coaches. Maresca left by mutual agreement, Amorin was sacked. Amorin got a payoff, Maresca did not. Don't know if the NFL is the same but it's a weird coincidence.

Amorin basically called out the organization before he was sacked. Was a pretty awesome post last game presser he had.

NFL is not the same, coach’s contracts are fully guaranteed as long as they don’t accuse them of conduct detrimental. And as long as the coach then seems to try to get hired elsewhere to offset some of the owed pay (this is why Kliff couldn’t just literally disappear to Thailand and collect his pay from the Cards even if he had wanted to—a funny story at the time)
 
Am I correct that since their season is over, they could cut him today, save the $18.5M, not owe him anything or have any dead money hits on next years CAP?

I believe that to be the case, i dont' think they need to wait til the end of the league year.

JP Finlay just said he thought the Lattimore release was a foregone conclusion, so maybe they can still release him, even if he's not considered 'healthy' because of the fact that there is no guaranteed money left on the deal.
 
Lattimore was a complete zero from Day 1.

Never looked like the corner that came in as the #11 overall pick and was all-pro before he was 25.

Just another reason to look in detail at a guy's injury history and personal history - I don't know whether Lattimore has had off the field issues in the past (not that I can recall) but he did miss significant time with injuries over the 2-3 years before the Saints traded him to Washington at age 29.
 
Lattimore carrying a firearm does nobody any good. No one's shouting "Cover me" to the guy if they wind up in a firefight.

It’s really fucking annoying to watch Ben Johnson + Caleb Williams’ Bears achieve a signature comeback playoff victory in year 1 of their new era. It just is. I will always root against them, and was pleased that they were down 18 points with Caleb throwing 2 INT.

Yet here we are.

It is kind of petty, and I felt the same as I watched it.

Due to the way Ben handled the interview process I will never like him. Caleb and the Bears become collateral damage to that feeling to me.

It also sucked a little when they posted that Caleb was starting his 35th straight game.

Same.

And it’s not due to being bitter, I legitimately loathe both of their faces. I didn’t realize when I wanted Ben Johnson, that he was so punchable. I had him pegged as a reserved nerd and he’s actually an uber cocky little bitch nerd.

The parallels to us from last season are there though. Ever since they made that kick against us, our season was officially over and they’ve been on fire. Just like the Hail Mary.

Not sure who I hate more, McManus for missing all those kicks or Lafleur for his refusal to run the ball. Now everyone gets to pretend the 50% passer that can swish it from half court but miss lay-ups is awesome. And I will likely be in a position to root for the Eagles, because that’s how much I want Caleb, Ben and all their fans to cry and go away.
