He had arguably the best rookie season in NFL history. But agree with your point in a sense if you don't believe he is a franchise QB, or think he's a big question mark -- ala we got another Jason Campbell or Patrick Ramsey potentially or whomever, yeah next season might suck and the future is bleak.
But I am not in that camp. And recalling some of
DWinzit posts who I was responding to, I don't think he's in that camp either.
But yeah I'd buy this is a "precarious situation" if I thought this season going south had nothing to do with leading the league in injuries. But when your season goes to hell with injuries, your season almost always falls apart.
Now if Jayden in college was an injury prone QB or had a serious injury with future implications, I'd be scared. But i am treating this as a one off considering so far in his career this is an aberration versus here we go again.
