Official Game Thread - Week 4 - Commanders @ Falcons

I can prediict this week’s Whitt press conference . He will say what u saw last Sunday isnt who we are. He will act like they’ve been great all season but that was a one off. Even though it isnt
Unfortunately I don't see DQ making a change....not that he should this soon but I think he is too close to Whitt. Not unless it becomes clear it's him or Witt.

If we were facing a good offense id chalk this up to just having a bad day but the falcons offense is pathetic.

Not trying to overreact in the gameday thread like i have a tendency to do but i think we're gonna be a grossly inconsistent defense until joe whitt is gone.
The ice has been getting thinner and thinner under his feet in my eyes since early last year and this game might be the breaking point.
Way too many gaping holes all over the secondary to blame this on injuries or anything other than terrible scheme.
Dan wont replace him. It was his one major PICK of a coach and he will die with him

I blame Carolina too for shutting out these assholes out last week!!! They came out on a mission and it showed today!!
If there is any truth to that - and teams play better after a bad loss that would mean we should be better next week too right? lol. Chargers are looking bad right now against the Giants so they might be on a mission next week too.

He wont this year and he probably shouldn't, mid season coaching changes rarely work out.

I think he'll fire him at the end of the year though if this defense doesnt improve dramatically.

So if making the QB uncomfortable works why are we not trying to do that. We seem to be playing a soft zone with no pressure - almost a 7-7 drill

The coaching is bad and the talent and depth is barely better than bad. That’s why. They’re playing and coaching off their back foot, ever since the season started, with moments of confidence and swagger. I don’t know why.

The magic seems to be gone from this locker room, that hard to define brotherhood and edge that we carried into every game last year. Lost like a fart in the wind after one sniff at a NFCCG.

Quinn has to get that vibe back, AP needs to bring in more talent, we probably need a better DC. But this team has looked like they believed they were frauds since the season started. Hard to combat that. Daniels is going to have to grow up fast.

We will get killed next week I was thinking 8-10 wins this year but now think 6 wins. We are not even in the hard part of the schedule yet,....

We did blow out the Raiders after getting stomped by Green Bay didn't we?? That's just my theory doesn't mean it's true!

quinn is coaching nothing like he did last year. Its like RON is back....

The offense will be fine. It’s the defense that is a disaster. We might have the worst LB and safety groups in the league.

Yeah i went with 7, lack of real playmaker on both sides of the ball and hitting lightning in a bottle last year hard to recreate.

One step forward...three steps back...

In all my life i dont recall ever seeing two offensive pass interference calls in the same game.

Bill is a gritty runner. Guy always seems to be picking up 4-5 yards minimum.
