This shows the two documents presented, one from the city and the response from the team. Providing these last-minute changes to the team on the day of the vote is so unprofessional. I don't expect the vote to happen today.

Apparently, Councilman White has submitted six amendments to the deal just yesterday, and that is what they are still deliberating. The team is calling them, impractical and unworkable.

Apparently there has been some last minute verbal demands from the D.C. Counsel to the team. Must be why we have heard nothing yet.

That LEED requirement is BS. There are multiple levels of LEED certification and if it is designed for electrical and mechanical efficiency that can easily be achieved. I'm not saying LEED Platinum but there are three other levels below that...Gold, Silver and Bronze

Unfortunately, there are quite a few people who see being a "naysayer" as a low-risk, high-reward proposition. Some are just natural at it, and for many (especially in politics) it is a real strategy. There should be real ramifications to this kind of behavior at all political levels (meaning, tracking votes and losing seats, to be clear as seems necessary these days).
