Official Game Thread - Week 1 - Giants @ Commanders

Looks like the national media was right again.

We just never seem to want to believe them whether its because they say we're gonna suck or they say we're a potential contender facing the overhyped preseason champs.

Daboll better start updating his resume because he may not make it to the end of the season.

Probably. I just don’t see the point though of starting Wilson. Dart at this point likely has better wheels than Wilson.

I wouldn't. Our DL might be great, but I think it's probably closer to "good." And they couldn't protect Wilson at all.

I'd worry Dart would get Ramseyed.
 
Like to see CR active next week over mcnichols. Eckler is great on the perimeter. I'd use CR and Bill as first down backs with Eckler as 3rd down coming out of backfield.
 
I think the Giant's preseason, momentum, moxie and mojo were all grossly over-exagerated by national media types who don't know crap and NY media.

They all got Osakaed.

They might be better than last year, but barring the completely unforeseen, they will be part of the conversation for a top 5 pick again.

McNichols is the Ekler backup. Bill is going to be the starter soon. McNichols is better in the pass game than CRod.

I said when they decided to keep 4 RBs, they wouldn't be able to keep all of them active.
 
All I've heard all week was how great the Giants defensive line was. I don't know what our rushing yards were, but it feels like the Oline handled that vaunted Defense pretty damn good........Clean up those untimely penalties and we easily score over 30 today

As bad as we played today at times and to still basically dominate the whole game.
They suck!

But they were highly motivated and scored a million points in the pre-season!

Our OL held up really well against a good Giants defensive front.

Conerly had a REALLY tough first assignment, and while I'm not ready to start his bust for Canton just yet, he held his own for the most part.

Tunsil did what you would expect him to do.

And the line will get better once Cosmi is back.

Once the weapons get their timing down, this is going to be a heck of a fun offense.

Robinson just doesn't have the burst to make the plays Bill and Ekler made today.

Really excited to see this group grow. It was also their first game together.
