2025 BGO Mock Draft sign up & Discussion Thread..

Guys, I apologize… I just got around to reading the first post and how this is set up and there’s no way I can make myself available for the duration so I will have to bow out. Hopefully someone can pick up the Titans and Rams.

I will take a 3rd team if needed.

I have done the work I normally do, which is little to none 😂. But that's why I enjoy doing this, it forces me to read up on prospects I don't know much about to make (somewhat) informed selections.
 
COWBOY-KILLA Have we locked the draft order yet? If not, we may want to consider pushing the start to next week. The benefit of having fewer guys is we get done quickly. We have had at least 2 weeks left the last 3 yrs I think. I really think we could push this to a next week start and be OK. That would give us time to recruit a few more people and give those of us not ready a little time to look at players, needs etc. It's really up to the group but thought I would throw it out there.

Either way I will gladly take another team. It does not matter who I take. Whever no one wants is fine. They are going to have a bad draft anyway.... :)

I'm fine with pushing things back a week, I'm just leaving to Spain on the 11 of April and wont have nearly as much access to get things done for it while over there, I will only have my phone. So if we push it back to the 4th can we push to get it done in a week? I'm fine with that. I can take on more teams as well if need be too.

Pittsburgh is demanding a compensatory 5th rounder to compensate for the draft moving back
 
With VOR that gives us 11. So all but 1 would have 3 teams and we could go. As people come in, they could pick up teams if they wanted to join midway. Also sounds like a next week start makes sense. If we don't get done by 4/11 we can finish for you COWBOY-KILLA Again, smaller number of people we can typically cook. Maybe even start Thursday? Just to give another day? Just throwing out ideas.
 
I think we can assume this is not starting today. Draft order not locked and we are still looking for people. With another week to prepare we can really hit the ground running next Friday. A round a day is our goal. I think best we have done is 26 picks a day average. But I am sure if everyone is on board we can get it done.

As we head into it, the best tool to keep things going is to keep a constant list of your top 3 selections for each team. Keep it updated as players get picked. That way if you see you will not be there to make a pick, you can send someone your top 3 in order and they can make the pick for you.

Getting geeked guys! Love this time of year!! For the last almost 30 yrs it was the only time of year we had hope... ;-) It's like Football Christmas - we get to open all the new players under the tree!! And now this year we actually have a regular season to be excited about!!

Hey all - We have enough right now if we all take 3 teams. But it would be great if we could find the other 5. Please ask anyone you know. That includes people who root for other teams. We had a Packers guy every year. Wish we could track him down. He did a good job. I don't think anyone is so in love with a team they would not give it up to someone who roots for that team. I know one year we had like 6 people from other teams. It was great! Let's try to get 5 more!

A little housekeeping - Since we are now starting Thursday at 12:00PM, that means draft order and rosters are locked at 12:00PM Wednesday. For those who are new to this, this means any trades will not change the order we will follow. There have been truly extenuating circumstances. We had not actually started the draft, and two teams made a trade that changed the landscape of the draft, especially for those two teams. So, it was approved. But in general, it has to be extreme. But we also want to have fun.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! This thing is about to get started!
 
Oh, and let me be the first one to say - The Atlanta Falcons are taking calls to trade pick #15. DM me if you are interested.
 
Pittsburgh wants to trade the 21st pick this year for a first rounder next year plus more consideration. Will take offers up until the pick is about an hour old.
 
I will take any team though Bills or Panthers probably be best as separated from other teams.
