2025 BGO Mock Draft sign up & Discussion Thread..

COWBOY-KILLA you reference “dm either myself of COWBOY-KILLA” in the OP. Assuming you’re not talking about yourself in the third person, is there a “co-commish” people should DM?

Oh no. I have no idea who any of these guys are. Truth be told, I never know what’s going on in the draft. I generally read up about the guys we draft after the draft and then develop some type of opinion.

Oh, and I like to punk on know it all but actually knows nothing Mr. arrogant ass Thor Nystrom.

The exception was last year when I watched some games for Maye and Daniels. And came away being more for Maye than for Daniels so clearly I’m dumb as rocks. (Though I’d wager probably still better than Thor.)

I just know how poplar this thread was and wanted to see the tradition continue. And see it exposed to some folks here who might be interested.

But I’ll help any way I can and you need.
Come on man, no one knows anything in here...you'd be a great addition!

I will also say as a staff member....

please start another thread NOW with the team assignments, that will live as the actual 'Draft' thread. This current thread can be the sign up / discussion thread. I will pin the other thread to the top of the board so it is highlighted and also create a 'feature' so it shows on our main banner on the main page of BGO.

I would absolutely isolate the 'pick' thread from the discussion one so we can lessen the noise. We aren't afraid to have too many threads around here, and we like to keep the ones we do have tidy.

Ok no problem. Thank you.

Also I’m going to be hiking in the blue ridge mountains Saturday and Sunday.

So, tell you what: I’ll help you recruit and I’m in for next year.

I don’t know why, given I’ve never directly participated, but I really wanted this tradition to continue. I know how much you all put into it, snd it was a hoot to follow along.

I've started it and have the draft order set up in it. We can go setting up the other stuff in there once we get people signed up for it. May want to pin both so people know where its at if its not too much trouble. We dont want to be pain but until we get enough people to do it could help the cause. Thank you in advance.

hey man any time. Please bring traffic to the board :)

I’d love to do the Seahawks and willing to do another team if needed. How about Houston?

If only Seattle would’ve followed my draft two years ago and taken Jalen Carter instead of letting him fall to Philly

I think (if I remember correctly) the discussions at the completion of the draft were the most interesting . Folks defending their picks and debating who did it best.

You are remembering correctly... :) Then we get to rehash it all the next year when we start the new, but now with a years data to support us.....

Thank you so much for bringing this up and getting us rolling. I had given up hope of this happening at all this year. Not sure about the others but considering the owner and how bad the team was year in and year out, the most fun I had all year was the mock draft. So again, thank you very much for resurrecting it from the dead.

PFF 2025 Draft Big Board

I quickly dumped the top 300 off PFF into an Excel sheet and formatted it down to clean it up. It's obviously not something I can post into a thread as it's long as hell.

If anyone would like it, send me a private message with your email address and i'll email it to you.

I agree, and if anybody is reading this and thinking about it, I’d encourage you to jump in. I did a couple years ago and I really enjoyed it. Trust me, you don’t need to know shit! There are tons of sites available with prospect rankings and write ups, and a quick Google search will reveal your team’s positional targets. The end result is you learn about a lot more players than the usual first round picks that everyone knows about. It makes watching the real draft a lot more interesting all the way through the middle rounds.

Another place to get the prospects is CBS. They actually put out a nice list and I like the evaluators. They do a decent job to get you started.
