Tunsil's is a given when one considers what we gave up, draft pick wise for him vs. Lattimore's draft picks. If Lattimore stays healthy in 2025, he should be an extension too.

I am concerned that the DL acquired are a collection of JAGs. Ferrel did nothing last season. Goldman is the only one I like.

It’s a fair concern IMO. If I’m trying to look for positives, it’s that we might/should be better vs the run, and might be able to reduce Payne and Newton’s workload, keeping them fresher for passing downs. It does feel like we’re sorely lacking a DE though - a situational pass rusher at the least, but ideally a well rounded stud… but it’s going to be a challenge to find one.

Gads. I posted something like this earlier, but the pitiful drafting by late Allen and then all of Ron is really a hinderence. You just can't get young quickly because you only have a certain number of draft picks, and on average, you're going to only hit on 4-5 of them per year. So you need to stack drafts and keep players you draft, that's how you get and keep guys who are under 28-30 years old.

FA is always going to be tilted to older guys. Good, young guys don't become available very often. They are signed or traded.

So the pitiful drafting and "growth and development" (thank you Ron) has led to a situation where we have 9! draft picks pre-2024 on the team: Payne, Terry, Cosmi, Bates, BRob, Percy Butler, Chris Paul, Quan Martin and Chris Rodriguez.

That's pitiful.

So now we have to go out into FA and sign old guys while we draft guys.

I think they should be open to Von Miller or Za'Darius Smith on short term deals as situational pass-rushers. Because as currently constructed, the DL lacks a pass-rusher anybody has to really worry about. Inside or outside.

There's literally nobody in that group which an opposing OC is going to have to pay special attention to on 3rd and 7+.

So I say, go get another old guy. I think I prefer Von Miller.

And a serious FU to Ron and Allen and everybody who was involved in the drafts from 2014 - 20223.

he's also got a track record of finding STUD LB / DE in the draft, specifically middle round guys

It takes four or five years to build a young roster that is talented. Give AP time. Ron's terrible picks are gone, including all of our first rounders for 5 years. Serious negative impact on our current state of the roster

We might have the same record, however, I think we will have a much better team. We are solidifying the trenches, should get a good RB through the draft- my guess is Philly's number one fear is our team right now.

They don't fear anybody right now. They just came off a Super Bowl win and are full of arrogance. It's going to require somebody to punch them in the face to change their attitude

Stroud did not but up the great numbers he did his first year. But that deals more with Houston's fuck ups, not him

I never considered Stroud a Franchise QB anyways. Maybe some of you all did though.

I was talking about Stroud. JD can definitely carry a team. He did it last year.
