Devante adams to the rams and harold landry to the patriots.

Yep. I think his theory is FA to fill short term needs, draft for the long haul, and trade for stars.

Now, watch us all be wrong as we see him unfold something completely different in year two.

Adams to the Rams makes sense, as I read that he definitely wanted to play on the West coast. I don't really care about Landry. Moses would an interesting get. He's a solid RT, but I'm not sure exactly how much of an upgrade he'd really be over Wyle, since he's 34. If it's cheap, then he could at best beat out Wyle and give us better play there for a couple season, at worst he'd be a relatively cheap depth and swing guy.

That contract for Allen is wild. I have to assume that by the time it comes time to extend JD, we'll be looking at a $400+ million contract.

This is why the rookie deal QB window is so vital

I don't understand why you'd give such a monster extension to a guy with 4 years left on his current deal.

I get that he's unquestionably the teams franchise quarterback but that's a pretty big gamble, nobody knows what the future is going to bring so why not be a little patient and see what things look like in 2 years and then you have two years to work out an extension.

The positives of doing a deal like this are maybe saving a little money when he cap goes up and the browns can tell you what the negatives are.

Bridesmaids get paid, too.

He's already a HOF. He's physically the most talented QB in the NFL. He brought the Bills back to relevance. You pay him whatever he's worth.
