I think DT is an absolute need: Same with OT, OG, DE, CB, S, LB, WR, TE, RB.

My dad asked my what we need this offseason, my response was "Yes...other than QB"

Yeah they need DL that play the run better, hold their assignments and still get upfield at the QB

I haven't even thought about DT to be honest, but I guess it's a need. If Allen walks, which seems likely it looks thin. Newton is going to be good I think. Mathis is a bust. Payne hasn't been the same since getting paid.

TE is interesting for sure, with multiple high end talent. I hope we resign Bates, but a high pick at TE to pair with Sinnott is possible. We do run a ton of 12 personnel.

Paulsen talked about the team if anything seemingly trusting him less as the season progessed and referenced from what he can tell Sinnott isn't the most assignment sound player and has ways to go. But will see maybe Sinnott has a big off season and takes a big step.

I love (no pun intended) Loveland. I'd take him in a heartbeat at 29 but I doubt he falls there. I haven't watched a ton of TEs but as i've mentioned I liked Ferguson. I liked Sinnott in the last draft but i recall saying my one issue with him was his seperation skills. Loveland and Ferguson both are distinctly better at seperating and more fluid athletes IMO than Sinnott. lol, too bad Ferguson had a big combine, I think now he might go in the 2nd, was hoping he'd fall to the third, will see.

Sadly your remarks regarding Paulsens take on Sinnott are spot on. I was one of the biggest Sinnott fans going into the draft, loved that they selected him, but I did think they reached slightly for him. Logans take answered a lot of Commanders fans questions that swirled through the season as to SInnotts limited usage.

I like Ferguson and he seems almost sneaky due to the great TE group that will be selected in the first 2 rounds. He really has a ton of talent and abilities even if a little light on blocking, still capable

I heard that too and was disappointed--I love the Sinnott pick at the time, but am becoming increasingly worried about him. His and McCaffery's playing time dropping off is troublesome.

When's the last time 2 TEs went in the first round? Or 2 RBs? Either could be this year, maybe both but I'd bet neither.

Bummer about Sinnott, but I never viewed him as Kittle/Kelce clone, more like a Novacek/Johnston type who is just an X weapon type. I'd love to add Loveland. There's a lot of good move prospects for sure.

Any thoughts on Taylor? I do love a pedigree.

Yes, I read he did. I'd really like to take Loveland or Warren but we have too many needs. Helm's production, I think gets him drafted on day 2 but he may make it to day 3. Same with Mason Taylor. I'd love to see AP trade our #1 for SF's 2nd (#43), 3rd (#99) and 4th (#112).

Yes, I read he did. I'd really like to take Loveland or Warren but we have too many needs. Helm's production, I think gets him drafted on day 2 but he may make it to day 3. Same with Mason Taylor. I'd love to see AP trade our #1 for SF's 2nd (#43), 3rd (#99) and 4th (#112).

I'm not sure I'd want to go that far back (this EDGE class is about 7 deep in terms of players who are very interesting...Carter, Stewart, Pearce, Green, Scourton, Jackson and Williams). I wouldn't want to say pass up one of these guys for a JTT just because I can also get an RJ Harvey

VOR, not saying your wrong, truly just a question, but if pulling coverage is all we need, do we have to have a really fast dude running deep or would any WR worth a damn still draw the same coverage?

I want the goddamn road runner. I want a guy who the safety has to bail immediately because he knows, if he’s even, he’s leavin’.

If you let a CB try and cover him 1:1, then you give up the possibility of an explosive.

Doesn’t have to be a great route runner. And doesn’t have to play every snap. Could be the 4th WR who cycles in.

But I want a guy with absolute elite speed.

MM, using the #43 we'd acquire from the 49ers we could see one, possibly more of the seven you mentioned still be available along with Sawyer, Umanmielen, Tuimoloau, Ezeiruaku and Kennard.

I think we should trade out of the first round and shoot for adding two more picks in the top 100. Plenty of talent to be had picks 29-100.
If you wait till after round one then your are limited and thereby pressured to get something done with only two more picks until pick number 207. That 1st pick can set up the rest of the draft.

This all goes out the window if that one guy we love falls to 29. In all my mocks when I stick at 29 the overall draft seems a little lackluster even with nailing those 1st 3 picks. Just some thoughts.
