Isn’t he a guard? I thought he was the Eagles RG but I could be wrong.
He played OT in College and was drafted #11 overall by the Jets as an OT. Played exclusively at OT for the Jets - when he played at all. He struggled with staying healthy and he seemed to struggle in space (not surprising given his size - he’s 6’ 7”and over 360, just a mountain of a man).
Eagles moved him inside and he obviously played much better and stayed healthy. But his PFF grades are just ‘solid starter’ level. He will get starter level money somewhere probably as a G. Notable the Eagles (at least so far) have not re signed him.

Jedrick Wills from the Browns might be an option. Former 1st round pick and very highly rated coming out. Played RT at college. Looks like the Browns are going to move on from him. They had him at LT but it hasn’t worked out for them or him. Could be worth a swing?
I am not certain of how good he has played with them but he wasn't able to ever stay healthy, especially the past two years. He is one of those players that might be willing to do a prove it deal. Like Becton, he was drafted early in the 1st round to be a starting LT and played a lot there. There are a few of these type players that the staff would need to do a deep dive on before pulling the trigger on signing. Another in this group would be the Bears Teven Jenkins

Yeah seems there has been injuries and at least one fall out along the way with the Browns. I guess anyone like this hitting FA will have had some issues along the way that any interested team would need to fully evaluate.
From PFF. Interestingly they put Wills and Becton as comps. Both are average to below average starters really and Becton is probably best considered a G rather than an OT.

Bingo… and saying what I’m ready to say I get that the vast majority of elite WR are a bit diva like… but watching the Netflix “Receiver” from a few years ago Adams to me could easily wear on a young QB like Daniels… he’s definitely a whiner and someone I don’t want here… plus the $ he will garner just adds to not wanting him here
good look at 2 potential FAs
I expect to hear of some signed leading up to the 10th and especially the 12th. Some of the players will be receiving looks during tamper time if they aren't signed. The main players I am reading that will draw interest are the obvious Wagner, Chinn, Mariota, Dyami, Day, Way and Bates. There will be many from other team being announced as we move to the 10th, actually that has already begun. I could see them wanting to sign the 2 Noahs and we all like Lucas
Calais albiet old might be interesting. You can get him likely cheap. Big time leader-mentor type. And even at his age, is a monster at setting the edge against the run.
Tart could be an interesting add but I would be more in favor of Ford. I question how much of Tarts game last year was affected by the dude next to him. The Chargers have a few interesting FAs like Samuel and Palmer
I think this was what Peters was referring to when he was talking about a “cash budget” rather than purely worrying about the cap. This has been shifting for years, but teams with deep pocket majority + minority share investors and/or cash to spare are seeing how you can load up in competitive windows and manipulate cap hits without just kicking the can and ending up in Saints/Cowboys classic cap hell.
He is a guard but was drafted as a Left Tackle- He would give us a great guard and could fill in at Right tackle if needed.
I have been high on Poona Ford. Newton can rotate in especially on passing downs. We still need 2 edge rushers with pass rush and run stopping ability. One should be there in the draft in the first 2 rounds.

Agree 100%. Plus he might be trying to chase a super bowl. He doesnt have one yet.
