Yes sir! I have been monitoring them for years too and one thing I like about their mock drafts is that they compare their final mock with the actual draft each year to see where each of their mock drafted player was actually drafted. It's fun to review that.

Latest NFLStockExchange mock has us going Scourton at 29 and Ersery at 61.
Mind you Pearce Jr. went 28 in their mock, which, I'm sorry but that drop off makes me sad. I like Scourton but holy cow if Pearce Jr. is there at 25 I'm working the phones bc Pearce is DANGEROUS and Scourton is merely a good 1st round pick.

You are right on with what you are saying but as always the context will 100% matter. This team was SAVAGED by Riverboat. They need more draft picks, not less. So I am not sure there is a scenario where they can trade UP. I mean, if they did what you are saying, I can't imagine where they would think it's ok to lose more draft picks. I imagine they will be looking the opposite direction (which is, I think, what happened when they essentially gave the Eagles DeJean):
- Comms see that there is a good chance for player X/Y/Z LATER in the round, they like X/Y/Z
- Comms see a trade partner who is willing
- Make the trade, get more picks, get a guy you wanted LATER in the round anyway.
That is the reverse of what you were proposing, which is what the Eagles did with us to GET DeJean (but they are not in our situation unfortunately):
- Comms see someone they project EARLY but slipping
- Comms make a trade to move UP to get their guy
- Comms lose draft position to get their guy
** By the way, I think if they rate a certain guy a certain way, they absolutely could do something like the trade up - but they would then need to get another 1-year deal done to make up for that draft pick in my view of team-building that I think they are employing. If you had a planned draft pick you sacrifice, that is basically a - hopefully - 1-year FA. The market dictates, so they will have to find "someone" - they may have a plan for that, some guys who are "if this happens, then this plan is the plan"

I'd be happy with both. Ersery is my #6 OT (just what I do for an exercise) overall and I think Scourton is being slept on in the Edge class a bit.

Luther Burden - as good as advertised, whatever doubts about him have been mostly silenced unless Egbuka blows everyone away at pro day

Kelvin Banks Jr. - was good enough at combine to hold onto his high spot
Will Campbell - Men 👏 This👏Big👏Aren't👏Supposed👏To👏Move👏Like👏That👏

Shemar Stewart - You know things are going well when you're being compared to Myles Garrett. He doesn't have the production but he'll still go 1st round
Jalin Walker - best LB in the class
Travis Hunter - when he finally picks whether he's a WR or CB, he's gonna be great at it
Will Johnson - best CB not named Travis Hunter
Very Likely to Go First, might slip to 2nd bc of volume of people (13)
Omarion Hampton - great combine, he's absolutely worth a first rounder
Emeka Egbuka - might've hurt himself not working out at combine
Josh Simmons - injury is scary but if he's healthy he's amazing
Josh Conerly Jr. - good player, but definitely a step down from the Banks/Campbell/Simmons group insofar as play is concerned and didn't blow away measurables like Membou
Tyler Booker - might've really hurt himself with shitty combine but is still best IOL in class
Mykel Williams - didn't combine so some standouts might leapfrog him
Walter Nolen - same, didn't combine
Kenneth Grant - same, didn't combine (except mediocre bench)
Mike Green - didn't combine except good bench
Jihaad Campbell - great RAS but also LBers seem undervalued
Jahdae Barron - might be rising due to solid combine but was sort of late 1st round guy before, and is pushed to CB3 if Travis is CB.
Nick Emmanwori - was kind of late 1st/early 2nd kinda guy but 10/10 RAS phew
Malaki Starks - opposite of Emmanwori, was rated solid 1st but had an okay-not-great combine
Could see going late 1st round but more like high 2nd round grades (11)
Jaxson Dart - someone might want him in 1st for 5th year option and as a less crazy alternative to the Sanders roulette
Quinshon Judkins - very solid combine, has lots of nice traits for a potential future franchise back, so if Hampton goes earlyish, I could easily see Judkins slipping into the back of the 1st
Treveyon Henderson - same as Judkins, just as more of a change of pace, slighty-worse version of Gibbs style back
Grey Zabel - projects to guard and that's true of other tackles, so he's like OL6/7 and potentially like OG3/4 so might not go until 2nd
Tate Ratledge - very high RAS but does it raise his stock enough?
Ersery - same as Ratledge, neither were really looked at as 1st rounders but RAS is getting them some buzz
Nic Scourton - good player at A&M but I don't know how to feel bc he was listed at times as a little heavier kinda tweener who could play anywhere along the line and then showed up at the combine at 257 and is pretty much locked at DE
Derrick Harmon - kinda depends on how many DTs sneak off the board. He's 4 or 5 so could easily fall out of first
Landon Jackson - guy looks like a freakin' Harkonnen. Great RAS, is one of my personal faves from this 3rd tier of players
Darius Alexander - I think he's gonna be 25(?). Good player, likely at his ceiling, which is at a good place and he's ready to roll, but also probably isn't gonna grow into a pro-bowler
Shavon Revel Jr. - has an ACL injury in his history, and sometimes is grabby (and we have enough grabby CBs)
Ben Morrison - Just a solid CB who I could see sneaking into the 1st
Not really 1st round material BUT if the run on a right position happens might sneak into the end of the round (5)
Quinn Ewers - someone might believe in him. Not me, but someone might
Jalen Milroe - kinda sneaking up there I think. Probably still not 1st round material but also wouldn't surprise me too much if someone who missed Cam traded up for 5th year option
Jack Sawyer - like the next 2 guys, decent player, probably better suited for the 2nd, tho in thinner DL drafts might go in the 20's. Thing is, there's 12 DL ahead of them (imo)

Woody would be my choice as he has outstanding hands and could be had 5th/6th more than likely. He's the perfect RB for our system just doesn't have the long blazing speed but is super quick to hit holes.

I've been watching some tape of Caden Prieskorn, TE from Ole Miss and he's not special in anyway but he's a true blue collar, get in your face, get it done pass catching, blocking TE. I wouldn't mind spending a 6th/7th rounder on him.

I think after we traded for Deebo, I know know exactly what I want the Commanders to do in the draft. Draft the fastest goddamn received they can. I don’t care if he can run routes or even really catch. But we need a guy who can run down field very fast to draw some coverage deep.
So draft a really fast guy. I don’t care who. Line him up on the same side as Deebo. Fast guy draws some coverage deep and Deebo can then operate underneath.
