I'll get to watching him. Reading about him, he's a giant, but a bit raw who plays upright. But i am a sucker for big men on the O line so look forward to watching
 
Isn't Travis one of the guys Paulsen brought up a couple weeks ago that he liked at T?

Two other giants that I have read positives on in the same light as Travis are Trapilo and Pierce

It might have been. I listened to his long draft review, and he talked about a project at LT that intrigues him that might be a project. I didn't recognize the name back then, but I am guessing that's who it was because he mentioned a big dude.

I take full credit :) Kidding of ccurse, yep they're some smart dudes who know the game and players quite well. I enjoy it too. BTW, I'm sorry for our POS embarrassmnet of a president who wears more makeup and hairspray than an entire bus of drag queens.

Kliffs offense and what I read or hear from analysts on OL, especially OTs confusing me.

I understand that the longer arms, more athletic and good footwork the better.

Size wise I hear different things The bigger the better, if they're mountains the athleticism isn't quite as imperative, or shorter like 6-4ish stocky with good base, Maybe it is just any of these options lol.

Interior wise they want mobile, big based maulers. I mean, that's what we all want right :D

Yeah Paulsen was the first guy I’d heard bring up Jalen Travis, Carson Vinson and Logan Brown. I don’t think he’d seen much of them at that time but he was keen to watch their tape based on them having ideal measurements
 
I'm not as enamored with the BYU RB. I'm not sure how much he translates to the NFL. He's a smaller version of Skattebo to me.

I think he got smitten with Travis at the Senior Bowl. He thinks he is a fit for what we are looking for in OLs
 
It might be worth it to double dip on tackles and take a second raw guy with the measurables in the 7th and stash that guy on the PS.

I think Lucas has been one of the most underrated players on this team for years but he will be 34 this season. He is a similar player to Ty Nsekhe and Ty was an active roster through 38 but I don’t know if I’d bank on that for Lucas.

Apparently, it was just a patellar tendon after all. Simmons says he’s going to be able to work out for teams before the draft. This is my OT1, I think. I’d be ecstatic if he fell to 29.

Just a patellar? That's the worst one to tear. The track record for athletes coming back from that and being the same as they were is slim.

Jonah Savaiinaea, OT/G, Arizona​

Height: 6-4 | Weight: 324

Savaiinaea is looking like a late-Day 1 or early-Day 2 pick. He ran a 4.95 in the 40, third among offensive linemen, and moves well on tape. Some scouts have wondered if he's a better fit inside at guard, where he played in 2022 and for part of the 2023 season. But he spent 2024 split between left and right tackle, and he has the length (33⅞ inches) to stay outside in the pros.
