Slayton or a very underrated Elijah Moore. That guy has put up consistently good numbers with guys like Zach Wilson throwing him the ball.

Yeah why not…Let’s get Slayton too! Or someone like him anyway. A downfield threat like that would be a perfect complement to Deebo who will mainly be near the LOS.
Some of the better free agent O’line options are getting deals to stay where they are. Jackson was resigned by the Rams. Trey Smith was tagged by the Chiefs.
I’d be surprised if the Ravens don’t get a deal done with Stanley.
Right now at OT Stanley is the standout possibly available but if he hits free agency it’s because he wants to be PAID and I wouldn’t want to give a market setting deal to a 30 year old with injury history and inconsistent play - although he was good last season.
Next guy in line at OT is probably Cam Robinson who is at least an average starter, maybe a bit better - but he’s not Chris Samuels or Trent Williams!
Not too much at G either. Will Fries maybe assuming the rehab/medical on his leg checks out.
I think we can help ourselves on defense in free agency - DJ Reed at CB, Osa Odighizuwa (he had excellent pass rush grades and was a big part of the Dallas interior rush) or Milton Williams from the Eagles at DT, Koonce at Edge from the Raiders.
There are options in free agency on D. Then look to the draft for help on offense at O’line/WR/RB/TE.

This is all sensible. Offense is already good and adding young talent will help keep it that way for years. We may or may not be able to find an obvious upgrade on the OL but we can at least inject depth/youth/upside. Defense otoh needs help immediately and as you say quality options we can afford are readily available.
Garrett's trade market
Graziano: Teams that have checked in with the Browns about edge rusher Myles Garrett are still being told there's no conversation to be had. The Browns continue to insist they won't trade Garrett, and functionally they'd have a really hard time doing so prior to June 1 anyway. A trade would jump his 2025 cap number from its current $19.7 million to a dead-money charge of $36.2 million. Waiting until after June 1 would allow the Browns to spread that charge out over two seasons.The best solution for Cleveland remains working something out to make Garrett happy and keep him in the fold, but he has so far been adamant that's not possible. The Browns may not feel compelled to honor Garrett's trade request until they become convinced he won't play for them, and it's going to be hard for him to convince them of that before they get to the regular season and see whether he's truly willing to miss real games. If the Browns do ever get serious about trading Garrett, I'd expect Buffalo and Philadelphia to be two of the most aggressive pursuers.
Fowler: After my talks here in Indy, I believe Cleveland is very dug in and willing to wait him out and show resolve. It's not just a "no" to any prospective trades, but an emphatic one. And the Browns haven't received many trade calls, in part because teams know it makes no sense to trade him.
Others around the league are skeptical, though, suggesting the Browns should capitalize on the multiple first-round picks available to them in order to move on. I just get the impression that the Browns are not moving off their stance any time soon.

Sleeper free agents getting buzz
Fowler: OK, time for my yearly batch of under-the-radar players who might do better than you'd think in free agency:- Brandon Stephens: The Baltimore corner has length and competes. His name came up unprompted in multiple talks with teams.
- Dayo Odeyingbo: The Colts defensive lineman has the versatility and length that teams covet.
- Jaylon Moore: Once a San Francisco swing tackle, Moore should be in line for a starter's role.
- Patrick Mekari: He has played all five spots along Baltimore's offensive line over the years.
- Tershawn Wharton: He is in position to become the third interior rusher off the board behind Odighizuwa and Williams.
- Pat Jones II: Jones had seven sacks as a situational rusher in Minnesota, which should enhance his profile.
- Jamien Sherwood: He's a missile in the middle of the field and could clear $10 million per year.
- Robert Spillane: Here's another linebacker whose toughness and leadership should help him on the market.
- John Bates: Tight ends with blocking prowess in the run game can get paid. Bates appears to be the next one, though Washington will look to keep him.
- Darius Slayton: It's a thin free agent WR class, and Slayton has put up respectable numbers in a bad New York offense for years. He also has raw speed. Slayton could be this year's Darnell Mooney.
- Joshua Palmer: He's a buzzworthy name among some teams as a sleeper receiver.
...Teams agree edge rusher Khalil Mack played lights out last season, and the only real concern with his free agency is age (he's 34). A few people I've talked to have made potential connections to the Buccaneers and Bears. Tampa Bay typically doesn't spend big on external free agents but is looking for pass-rush help.

Jaylon Moore mentioned by that ESPN article I attached. 70 plus PFF scores. 33.5 arm length. Only 27 years old. SF with i presume a Perers tie. Maybe a solution at tackle?
Yeah good player but I believe is about to get paid as a great player so i am out on him if so. As for Eagles players i am more intrigued by M. Williams.
Jaylon Moore! I love it when these guys I barely know at all show up out of nowhere and go on my radar!
His production is decent but not great in terms of sacking/hitting the QB and he’s not great against the run. I agree with you - I’d rather pay Williams than Sweat.

"This honor would have gone to Dre Greenlaw (82.0 PFF overall grade), but the linebacker mustered only 34 snaps this past year," writes PFF analyst Bradley Locker. "Meanwhile, Moore was a solid fill-in at left tackle, surrendering only one sack and 10 pressures on 154 opportunities. The 27-year-old was generally effective as a run blocker, reflected in his 70.1 PFF run-blocking grade. With only 831 career offensive snaps under his belt, Moore projects best as a swing and/or depth tackle. With Trent Williams’ decision to return not yet known, the 49ers could look to bring Moore back if they need to usher in a more marquee replacement."
Tyler Conklin. Good hands. Good pass blocker. TEs usually don't demand big money in FA relatively speaking.
I'm always leary of signing a free agent who has a big Super Bowl. Seems it inflates their value artificially. I remember years ago the Raiders sign the SB MVP Larry Brown after Neil O'Donnell gift wrapped 2 overthrows into interceptions. I laughed at Oakland at the time and of course he busted.
Not saying this is the case with Sweet but I got to believe his value got inflated over one game.
I am having a hard time envisioning the plan at TE. Ertz was incredible last year even though he is slowwww. Sinnott didn't show us much and leaves us questioning him even though he is fun with the ball in his hands. Bates is a great blocker and eh in the passing game.
Adding Conklin would allow you to get Sinnott active and bring in another all around TE with more YAC potential than Bates, bring back Bates, or bring back Ertz knowing he has less of a load in a final year.

A friend of mine brought him up this morning. He is a smaller guy who is more a decent athlete. He may be a guy who fits Kyle's outside zone scheme better than the gap and inside zone scheme we run here. I'm always leery of high PFF scores for backup OLs. We've seen it here for years with Lucas and Schweitzer before him.
By the way, for all the people going "meh it's just a 5th round pick" with the Deebo trade, this guy is just another notch on AP's belt as a hit in that round. Since SF, he has way more hits than misses in that round.

When i first heard about the Debo trade i was disappointed. But now that i had a day to mull it over.. i like the move.
1. We now have a legit 1B/ 2 swiss army WR/RB. The way Kingsbury used Brown last year.. Debo is the much better version of catching the ball in the backfield and making something happen
2. (I hope there is no extension) if not, we should get a very motivated player
3. 17mil for a legit #2 WR is the going rate these days.. so the price is acceptable
Potential negatives
1. The things i was reading is that his attitude wore thin in SF, (out of shape at times, deva, complaining about getting the ball, swinging at kickers)
2. Somewhat inj prone
3. Doesnt have much left in the tank
This trade also makes me think FO does not hold any of the reachable WRs in this draft very highly .. hopefully results are better than the Latimore trade.

If Deebo hit the FA market this offseason, coming off the season he is coming off of, I have a hard time envisioning he'd get $17.5M on a 1 year deal.
