For a 5th round pick, though...

I think he’s a good fit for what we do on offense but he’s hurt a lot and was bad last year. Probably better than who we would’ve taken in the 5th but I’m meh on this.

I mean. I dont think he was worth a whole lot more than a 5th. He was pretty average the past 3 years.

Also. We WILL get Deebo's best this season. He is in a contract year coming in. I pray to god we didnt extend him for some ridiculous amount of money.

So, with Deebo on board, do you re-sign OZ or Noah? I suspect we won't go after Dyami. The question is, who will man that third receiver spot. It'd be nice if Luke could, but he hasn't shown signs that he's ready yet. So, do we fill the last spot with one of the prove-it guys who proved it, go with the draft, or gamble on Luke?

I would rather have Noah back in all honesty. He is a true outside WR. Deebo can play anywhere. But he could be deadly full time in the slot imo.

I grew to like Noah a lot! Took us a few weeks for the offense to get back on track once he got hurt, too. We missed him when he went down.

I can’t say I love the move, but I also think there’s a weird dichotomy - when your team gets a guy vs another team getting that same guy. Cowboys fans are afraid he’ll work out for us and that we added a stud, we are worried he won’t work out (most likely due to injuries).

But… he’s going to be motivated, there’s the future comp pick consideration, he fits the system, the FA class is kind of sucky, a 5th is easy to recoup, and this looks to be a heck of a draft for defense. Probably my favorite aspect is that we didn’t buy high.
So overall, I’m cool with it.

I’d like us to draft or sign someone to be the #2 opposite Terry with Deebo as the #3/slot/motion guy.

I'm good with the trade. AP getting a proven receiver for a 5th is good value. A name I think we'll be hearing is Darius Slayton. Think he would elevate our WR Corp with TM and Samuel. Resign N. Brown and perhaps Crowder (versatility as a returner) and continue to develop Luke, and I think that's a pretty solid group that can keep opposing secondaries on their heels.

HTTR!

That’d be funny. Our starting WR corps would then be three draftmates from the 2019 class
