Harder yes, but look around the league and you'll find many of the elite players were not drafted in the first round. You should be able to find great players in the second and third rounds if you have the coaches to develop them and the player who has the hunger. Heck, great players have come from every round and even gone undrafted. I know this is forever ago, but remember in the Glory Years that Bobby Beathard never met a first rounder he didn't want to trade away.I am in the group of people who believe this team has serious holes in all over the place on both sides (O/D) that were covered by excellent play by few players who carried the team, lead by JD5. We need above average players before we exclusively target Blue Chippers which will honestly be hard where we draft going forward. Luckily, we have an elite GM who can manage the team via both free agency and draft to get to where we are competitive year in year out. I am excited to see what we do this off-season. This draft is loaded with good talent at certain positions in the 2-4 RD range per experts.
