Being more serious, I actually liked The First Ladies of Football and that still works with Commanders.
 
I would like to see them move away from the incredibly misogynistic sexualization of women completely. We don't need glorified strippers on the sidelines and it sends a negative message to young women in my opinion.
 
We should make a new song that's like set to the Rule Brittania melody.

I hear you on this, however, I have a bunch of friend who's kids are into competitive cheer, and they LOVE it.

I think if they are going to have cheerleaders, it should move away from the "dance club" style they have now to more of a competitive cheer style, which takes as much athleticism as anything on the field.

Your overall point I agree with. However, these kids who do the competitive cheer stuff are amazing, and love it, and if being an NFL cheerleader was the top of that pyramid, that would be awesome.

I get people not liking the name, primarily because Snyder picked it. But I simply cannot continue to let Snyder ruin the years I have left. I can’t place any energy on worrying about the name changing.

If they can bridge the uniforms to reflect the old and the new, and most importantly - field a damn good football team that competes every season, it’s all good by me.

I should add that they really need to bring the song back. Not the new rendition, the real song.
 
Though I've grown to like RaiseHail.

I do not like HTTC.

I think you can give a nod to the past and build new traditions at the same time. In fact, I think you have to in order to properly respect the teams history.

Bridging Commanders into the song the way they did just sounds awful. Which is the primary reason I say to just let us have our damn song as an ode to the past.
 
I'm fine with the name. I don't like it, but whatever; it's not changing. What I would like to see is:

1. Go back to the old version of the fight song. Don't use lyrics, we sing them anyways. Just the old melody/instrumental recording.
2. Go back to the old uniforms/helmets. I actually like W logo on the helmet.
 
Now I need to somehow become other worldly rich so I can buy the cowboys and rename them the cum stains, then the worlds karma will be balanced.

Of course it was lazy.
1) the owner was busy with legal issues, distractions, nothing football related
2) the owner held nothing to any standard
3) the employees (everyone below the owner) had been operating in this kind of fog for a long time, it was the "way" they did things at that point

So yes, it was definitely lazy and unoriginal. Classic Snyder.

I feel you, brother. I am going to wear primarily Skins stuff until I die. However, I am going to have to mix in a little new stuff now that the issue is settled and Commanders is what we are stuck with.

My kids clamored for C stuff this year and I feel the need to blend what my kids are starting to know as the new normal, with what I grew up with.

I just pulled the trigger on this exact hat just now. It is on the way to my house. I figure if it is good enough for Coach it is good enough for me to be the one C item I own. HTTR.

Agreed. Raise Hail is a nice marriage of the old and new. Heil to the Commanders sounds like something a German soldier would say to his Fuhrer.
 
From the moment Harris bought the franchise he has slowly but steadily accumulated goodwill with the fanbase. This is a crucial decision that will make or break his ownership in the long term. He may have punched a hole in his bucket of goodwill that can never be patched.
