Around the NFL - Gameday Discussion thread

Yeah, they are the same team. One of those QBs was going to continue to wear the “can’t get it done in the playoffs” label after yesterday. The other was going to start to shed it. I still think Allen needs to get to the Super Bowl, but for now the heat is off of him. Jackson on the other hand, he may get some reprieve because Andrews had the last two mistakes yesterday. But Jackson had his mistakes early. They were both equally responsible for the loss yesterday.

just saw a WR and the QB for Buffalo moving forward at the same time and no flag. Is the QB exempt from that rule?

Where is Troy Aikman!?I have way more reason to despise him than I do Romo or Brady...but I think he's a great color guy. Can't believe he's been sidelined for these schmucks. Ugh.

I’ve never seen this: KC ran a play, they negated the play to go back and review the previous play.

He’s on ESPN.

Listening to Romo now and Brady earlier today is such a contrast. When Daniels was driving in the first game before half, Brady is dissecting what Daniels needs to do. How many yards to get, when to spike it, how much time to get this and that, etc. Romo is out here saying “I wouldn’t have done that” after a successful play. Yeah, that’s why you choked in the playoffs dude.

The actual Mafia, along with everything in Vegas has all of these games, and all of these outcomes in every possible way in one way or the other on the line.

What could go wrong?

I wouldn’t have tried for 2 from the 1. Just take the points and be down 4. I get being down 4 or 5 isn’t huge. But just take the point. Being down an extra point to the Chiefs isn’t really ideal.

Buffalo suddenly looking like us, without all the turnovers. Lol.

Yeah, I think going for 2 early is usually a bad decision. That’s one thing that will get lost in the first game today. Quinn should have kicked the XP instead of going for 2 early. However, there are a lot of coaches that will now take the penalty and put the ball at the 1 to go for 2. That’s the new strategy, so it’s hard to go against it. Ironically both the Eagles and Bills have tried that today and both failed from the 1.

IMO Quinn should go for any advantage, as our defiencies should have proven by now. We do in fact have the QB to do it.

I threw up earlier, and if KC wins I'll probably do it again.

And my husband would hold my hair (God rest his 49ers soul). I miss him sooooo much.
