Official Game Thread - Playoffs Week 2 - Commanders @ Lions

Another week before our coaches can be hired away from us. Here's hoping some of the spots fill up rather than wait for our coordinators...though I still wish them well. I just hope it is here:cool:
I think the staff remains intact. They have a good thing going here. I do know that HC candidates are sniffing around Pritchard for OC or senior offensive staff position. Kliff stays, I'm certain of it.

Shout out to Dyami Brown after getting called out by Aman rah rah Me Brown who led our receiver corpse with 6 Recs for 98.
Yes, looks like Me Brown will think twice before opening his mouth to talk :poop: again. Those Lions were so arrogant, and their fans were absolutely obnoxious. Glad we punched them in the mouth repeatedly.

Rex - speaking of getting punched in the mouth - every time I see you post I read your screen name as 'RexKwanDo'...

Ohhhh the memes will flow today, and it will be GLORIOUS.

Sorry Lions fans, but also WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Terry McLaurin talked about Dyami's growth in post-game. Said he has been talking to him, working with him all season long and that Dyami has grown up this year and is doing what it takes to be successful now. If he keeps improving and playing like this, we may be looking for a 3rd WR not a 2nd in the offseason. He looks like a different player in the playoffs.
I have long thought we probably are not going for splashy FAs this off season. Same like last off season. It’s going to be a lot of character guys who fit in. And we’ll draft guys and develop them.

I absolutely see WR and RB as target positions (assuming the board falls correctly) in the draft.

I don’t think we’re going to go after Higgins though. Maybe Godwin.

I also think they’re going to add numbers at OL. Count on Coleman to improve. Look for somebody at RT, but that might be through the draft also. They might need a new guard for Cosmi depending on the severity of the injury. That didn’t look good.

But I doubt they are going to make massive changes. Some new additions, some draft picks. But nothing flashy and more like we saw last year.

Jackasses...

I normally don’t care what other people think, but I was remembered this during the game. Absolutely hilarious to think what these morons must have been thinking during the game.

Maybe St. Brown will have time to educate himself on Dyami's stats after he gets that cheap Target horrible blue dye out of his hair. Hopefully his hotel in Cancun has a nice TV for him to watch Dyami slice up the Eagles in the NFCCG next week.

Apologies to all from my time at ES banging my head on the wall wondering why this team NEVER embraced hurry up. Heck losing by 3 TDs with 6 minutes left they were still dragging their feet and the announcers sounding off on it. My therapy required me to bitch and moan copy paste about it on ES over and over. I know I cannot be alone wondering how all our coaches refused to use it despite the top teams doing it the most, were dominating the most. The craze even kind of came and went and it was still no where to to found in these parts. I remember Shanahan would use it a few times a year and we'd always do well and then it was instantly shelved.

Our muddle huddle sucked the air right out of those arrogant fans lungs who quickly realized its useless to keep screaming when your team is getting rapidly marched down the field on. I feel vindicated. Our offense has been dictating to defenses ALL season and its been glorious to watch.

Requisite Box Score

Also requisite... Lions fans faces were priceless and they kept showing them. All had the exact same bewildered expression.

They did show some very tasty dejected fan porn. I especially loved the extended shot of the guy in the lion suit trudging dejectedly up the stadium steps toward the exit before the game even ended. As for the two pictured above, I'm sure they picked up a small rock of ice on the way home and forgot all about those Honolulu blue losers.

We are chatting for the Rams-Eagles game if anyone wants to join us

It is really something special to be able to sit back on a Sunday knowing that the Redskins' spot is secure and watch the Fecals struggling for their playoff lives. I'm hoping for a physical, draining game that goes 2 or 3 OTs.

Ah, the Rams kicked a FG on 4th down deep in the redzone instead of going for the TD. That takes me back to a kinder, simpler time. How quaint.

Rams have been absolutely horrific on 3rd and short. It will cost them the game if they can't improve it or if they don't start using all four downs.
