Official Game Thread - Playoffs Week 2 - Commanders @ Lions

Refs have made it clear that DET is going to win this one no matter what. Defensive offsides, no call. WAS gets a clear first down on the third down pass, ball spotted a yard short. Offense ready to snap the ball while the defense is out of position, refs hold the ball until the D gets fully set. If the Lions are so great, why do they need all this help?
 
At least 2 uncalled holds on the "touchdown" drive. I guess the NFL needs the ratings of a DET/PHI NFCCG more than I thought....
 
Brutal to have a momentum shift like that against this team…that 4th and 1 call/execution was a disaster man
 
Execute and the refs won’t matter, right? Hate harping on the reffing

I wish Fox had shown a replay on the Crowder catch I thought he got the first down, maybe Fox showed it and I missed it,
 
Ultimately, to win you need to execute. However, it is an oversimplifcation or naive stance to deny that bad/biased reffing can cost a team a game
 
Branch was hugging OZ all the way down the field and never even looked for the ball. Defensive holding at the very least.

Always suspicious when there is no replay.
 
DET may win today, but with this defense they are not getting past the Eagles or the AFC champion.

Clutch turnover and very needed. I believe we can score points nearly every possession, we just need a couple stops/turnovers throughout the game

They do that when we substitute players, the defense has to be allowed to get their guys in. Sometimes I wish we subbed less honestly
