One guy I really miss from ES is Commander in the Rye.

It took him 20 years to get to ES. And he's like 80.

How long will it take him to get here?

It'd be nice but I think someone will have to show him the way.

I recognize the names but there were so many ES posters I don't really know the personalities or posting styles. The exception was IRepDC because he was just so arrogant and condescending.

Now to the game. I am concerned. I mean it's amazing to beat the Boys in yet another last second TD to get to 12 wins but this offense is broken. There is no running game, It was so frustrating to once again be inches away from so many big plays, plays they were making earlier in the year. The throws are just out of reach or the receiver fails to make the catch, or a little of both. We need to start hitting more of these plays and try to figure out why the running game has stopped in its tracks.

Maybe the lack of running game is due to some of the OL injuries we've been suffering the last several weeks? The continuity of the line changing from week to week could be an issue. Or....maybe BRob has lost a step as some have suggested...

It does seem like defenses have been blitzing us a lot lately. Maybe they're stacking the box more (because of our rookie QB) and we have less running room.

These are just musings since I don't rewatch games or anything.

I may be wrong but I think the OL has a lot to do with the timing being off. JD has a little less time and I think over the last several weeks it may have unsettled him a bit. OL is where it all starts and right now due to injuries etc it's just plain not good.

At least Hooker was paying attention and just misread the hand-off / bit on the fake. Stevenson literally ignored the play as it was happening lmao

Hooker blew it. After raising his arms in celebration of Mariota getting the first down he's supposed to run escort and block anyone trying to chase the QB down. Hooker got confused.
