After a brutal 1st half, they did look better in the 2nd half.Run defense is broken. Needs to get fixed.
Yeah, I know, the Hurts run option was missing but they still improved regardless.

Same reason the eagles were only favored by 3 then eventually 4 against us, because they're better but not certain blowout better just like us with the falcons. How are we only favored by 5 pts at home against the Falcons?
As I was watching the Bucs lose yesterday I remember thinking during our game on Week 1 game I felt we were not in their class. Now they are out of the playoffs and we look to be in very soon..Just read some Bucs comments on Atlantas win yesterday (and that Atlanta is now in 1st place in the South) and now many seem convinced Atlanta will lose to us next weekend.
After week 1, I never would have believed we'd be in this position this soon, where fans of another franchise are hoping/expecting us to beat a division rival who they could not (Tampa lost twice to Atlanta this season)
They're not out but they don't control their own destiny anymore. Now they are out of the playoffs and we look to be in very soon..
I was speaking about at the present time, we are in and they are out. Sorry I was not clear. They're not out but they don't control their own destiny anymore.
If we beat the Falcons the bucs are back in the drivers Seat and only have to beat the Panthers and the saints to get in.
He was with the team before Jason. Then he transitioned into a mostly figurehead role. I don’t think he does much with the team these days apart from being an alumni liaison. I can’t imagine the Harris Group seeing any benefit of jettisoning him.I really hope Doug Williams stays connected to the team even though I know Jason Wright is out the door. He seemed genuinely happy after the game.
JP Finlay said the shoulder was a real issue for him. He had both a concussion and shoulder issue.I wonder if Ertz was ready to play. Seemed like they used him as a decoy for the most part.
Were they wanting to protect him from getting hit?
Newton is also the counterargument for strength and training. Because of his feet he missed every single offseason and preseason snap. He was an observor on the sidelines. He got his mental reps and PT. That's about it.Remember when Johnny Newton jumped off sides to basically end the Steelers game earlier this season? And there were some damn fools who wanted to cut him and said a winning organization doesn’t tolerate that?
We’re what, 5 games later in his rookie season and:

I'd be surprised if most teams playing Sunday aren't doing the same thing - including the Falcons.Concerned about practice being shifted to Tuesday at half speed and them not practicing Wednesday
For sure but he a rookie so has had to deal with adjusting to the physicality and speed of the NFL. It appears he is now up to speed!I was very please to see those stats for Newton. Let's be honest guys, he has not produced much so far and missing training camp was a long time ago.
I was thinking about that whole gameday thread thing the other day and I kinda realized something.Public service Announcement: don’t be the damn fool jumping to a conclusion after one play on any player or you’re going to look like bozo the clown.

My PC has a touch screen and my cat Sabrina is chasing 'em around the screen and moving everything around...my cursor changes the direction, so she's really having fun! Now, onto the cool stuff. Is anyone playing with the falling snow? Did you know that you can change its direction with a single touch?
