I had had an incredibly healthy life until last winter. In 2 months I was diagnosed with hyper tension, diabetes and prostate cancer. My wife's heart went into AFIB while she was on the operating table about to have her ankle replaced.61 and have had many broken bones, concussions, stitches, sicknesses and about died 2 times as a kid.
The cancer was very treatable, I'm good after only 20 radiation treatments. The diabete was a result of a guy with pre-diabetes saying "fuck it, why don't I get that Hagen Daz?" while at the store. Cancer makes you think this way. I cut that shit out and am now below pre-diabetes. Hyper tension was fixed with meds, one even knocked my tremors down to managable levels.
So yeah been a ride. Caring for your wife after her surgery in April while undergoing cancer treatment really sucks, but we got through it.
