Who will the new coach/GM be?

I think being reactive because a bunch of media personalities and angry fans are screaming for someone's head would be a bad sign. We all want change, but with Snyder's departure, we also were hoping that we'd finally have some responsible grown-ups in charge.

I think in this situation, responsible grown-ups see there is little to be gained by in-season firings. I sort of wish Harris would just come out and say, this coaching staff will remain intact for the duration of the season. Leaving it an open question, with every media outlet continually asking questions (now even directly to players) is not helpful.
Yeah.. about the only thing I could think that would be a positive was that people would stop asking about it. Lol

"Everyone's shooting for Washington," one personnel executive said of the Commanders not-vacant GM position.

Washington has a healthy salary cap situation, good draft picks and an ownership group that -- admittedly not even a half-year into its rule -- appears competent. There's an allure to a job in Washington that hasn't been there for a quarter-century.

Considering Harris' background, a league source tells CBS Sports that any candidate with an open-mindedness to data and analytics will likely be a plus.

I'm watching Houston v Jax right now and loving Slowick's offense with a rookie QB. Just sayin...

I forget his name but that personnel guy we had that was drafting Jonathan Allen and Terry McLaurin but ended up being let go when Ron came in because Ron had to have all the titles, THAT was a loss on the roster construction side.

Kyle Smith

My vote for our next GM btw.. He's currently asst GM in Atlanta, but his dad is the HC so i doubt it comes to fruition

Well, now that Snyder is gone a lot of opportunities are going to present themselves that were not there in the past.

When Washington hired Ron Rivera in 2020 there were almost no other candidates that wanted this job that were credible.

All that was available were retreads that wanted one more chance to hold the clip board on the sideline.
