Mahomes is an amazing QB and I actually like him. His part is cool. His wife is terrible, cousins is annoying. Pretty meh overall

Finished watching 'Barry'. That series was a nice surprise as I wasn't all that familiar with Bill Hader prior to it. Very well done.

I enjoyed Barry until the final season where it transitioned from weird to too weird for me.

Little bit of both friend. His brother obviously out there a bit, but something about him always been offputting and irritating to me also haha.

I've actually grown to like him. I couldn't stand his wife before the show dropped either, and ironically enough it's really humanized her a lot.

For those of you who have watched Quarterbacks on Netflix… was I the only one surprised at how very little involvement Eric Bieniemy had? (At least in the footage that was aired.)

All of Mahomes interaction with coaches during the games was with Andy Reid and Matt Nagy. The only time I really saw EB was when he was sitting silently on the bench, removed from any conversation. For as vocal as he is here it was both surprising and concerning to me.

I'm not a fan. It's one of those things where if he were my team's QB, I'd probably chalk the things I find irritating up to his being uber-competitive and love him. But not being a KC fan, I think he cries and whines - a lot - for a guy who is going to get the vast majority of calls going his way to begin with.

I haven't watched it, but I have questioned all along just how big a factor EB was in the KC offense's success? I think Reid is a pretty big control freak and if Bienemy were the genius we want to believe he is, I have to think he'd have relinquished play-calling duties to him. Doesn't mean EB can't be that guy and isn't a great OC, but right now it's wishful thinking on our part as just about any OC associated in any way with the leagues scariest offense is going to be 'the next big thing'. I do like what I've seen from Bienemy so far.

I also like what I have seen to date from him. I think that is why I was so surprised with what I saw. Matt Nagy was so much more involved than Bieniemy that it stunned me. If I weren’t looking for him he wouldn’t have been even a faint blip on the radar. Granted that could be totally a product of the editing of what had to be a mountain of filmed content.

If you have any intention on hating Kirk Cousins... Quarterback can kill that. Dude is a dude. He may be money driven... I think we can all understand why he left and the level of guilt that Bruce Allen / Dan Snyder should be responsible for. Watch this show and I have a hard time not having a massive level of respect for the guy. I can still poke holes in his game, and I don't think it was a bad move to go in a different direction, but he 100% (as well as the other guys) finds a way to earn an endorsement on this show.

I really thought Kirk came across as whiny and soft. I think he is a really nice guy and loving family man, but as a competitor, he's soft. Always talking about how he can't win, going to s counselor, and then losing again anyways in the playoffs. I actually felt glad we don't have him under center.

Fair, but i think the overwhelming idea that he was a money hungry guy who absolutely didnt care can be debunked. A lot of fans of this team believe he didnt care and was all about the money, and watching this show (to me) greatly contradicted that.

The reason I'm not a Cousins fan is because he lied to the fanbase repeatedly about 'wanting to be here'. In fact, he never ever got over them selecting and playing Griffin ahead of him, even when it became clear Griffin wasn't going to be the same guy we saw his rookie season.

He didn't want to be here and the first chance he got to move on, he took it. And it's easy not to be 'all about the money' when you've already gotten a couple of huge pay days. Just sayin'...

I don't think he's a 'bad guy'. He's like a lot of NFL players and says publicly what he thinks will put him in the best light. And I'd include a TV show in that category. But I have not watched this program, so guess it's possible it could impact my current viewpoint.

Watched a few episodes of 'The Golden Boy', a biopic/documentary on the life and career of Oscar Dela Hoya, narrated in part by the man himself. I've always been fascinated by boxing and the show does not handle him with kid gloves. The contrast between who Dela Hoya wanted the public to believe he was, and who he really was, is pretty glaring. It seems Dela Hoya is still in the process of figuring out who and what he is. Kind of refreshing to see an athlete with that kind of enormous ego willing to put his whole life out there publicly. Worth a watch.

HBO showing the entire 'The Last of Us' season today. Really like this show. Season 2 isn't coming until 2025, which I think speaks to the quality expectations. Can't wait. In the meantime, can't think of a better or more productive way to waste time on New Year's Day.
